Lost my phone at our NY launch event in the most obvious of places. Campaign ends in 8 days, we’re 87% funded. Book will *not* be available for wholesale or ordering of any kind after it ends. Please read that sentence again. Also, I won’t be available for anything afterwards and my phone will be magically (purposely) lost for an indefinite amount of time, ideally somewhere warm, green, sunny, where phones can’t be found. Very exciting Sunday ahead, returning to the beloved Paradisco . We spent some wonderful moments dancing with & over the years, getting to know their friends and learning about what drives them to put their parties on--from NY to Fire Island 🤍 It's an honor to be invited to take over a full evening for a tea dance this Sunday February 19th, this time joined by none other than , who we just played in Toronto with. It's free for all, and you're encouraged to come early, dress comfortably, and stay late. The party starts while in line, too, so be mindful of your energy and remember that a good attitude is always in style 😘

If you're in NY tomorrow and curious about the work behind the campaign, we'll be celebrating the Kickstarter launch at from 6-9pm. We'll be setting up a sound system in the space and is hosting open decks. There'll be drinks and we'll be talking to folks about the project, as we know some people have questions. We got answers :)

On Saturday we're headed to Toronto for launch event 2, followed by a good ol' fashioned party at .to ~ .nyc joined by and Jan Afif behind the decks. Info for the Toronto events in bio.

Quite crazy to be included in ’s list of best albums of 2022 (A thru D is out). Thoughts on this in no particular order:

I never would have thought it would resonate, but it felt necessary to release (as in ‘to let go of’) Prelude.

The Detroit Escalator Co (), also listed, is a transformative masterpiece. To be mentioned on the same group is wild, especially when it also includes Horace Andy and Björk!

I don’t know if I emotionally moved on too quickly. We’re constantly being shoved into thinking about what’s next and staying optimistic, despite all the great things in my life this year, has been challenging. This is an opportunity to stop and acknowledge what I’ve done and what’s in front of me today. For this, I thank all of you who reached out about it, who bring attention to the album. Your kindness is something to learn from.

When the world is on fire, how do we find the peace of mind to prevail, to keep on with an honest smile?
