THROWBACK 2-17-14 | Yes, ten years ago today! Wendee started her first wedding planning company in 2002, doing the large overwhelming weddings. But, in 2012, she decided to go micro and specialize in small intimate weddings & elopements. Years of experience + a down-to-earth planner = a super fun, epic wedding day full of cherish-able memories!

INSPIRATION | Yes, even with small intimate weddings, we make "the look" cohesive, and to reflect your style and personality. Despite it being a package, every single wedding I've planned..... and its approaching 1,000 .... has been unique with the couple's colors and style - no two weddings have ever looked the same.
I invite you to checkout the galleries on our website and you will see how a small intimate wedding day flows together seamlessly. What is your vision and style? How do you plan to make your small wedding unique with your personality?

SPRING MICROWEDDING | Whites and blush are pretty (and we do them well).... but, when you add color to your bouquets, oh, do they amaze! Here is one of our favorites from May 2021 with soft yet solid pinks, touches of peach and blue.

BEHIND THE SCENES | This is one of my favorite parts: taking couples' inspiration, and making it actualization.
What make our packages unique are the variation of style from couple-to-couple. We don't have a set of menus - rather, our couples send us images of florals and cakes they like, along with their attire. We send those images to our florist and baker to customize a look that is completely personalized.
Because bouquets and cakes can never be exactly duplicated (product of nature, variable growing seasons, different designers), it helps to send 3 to 4 photos of bouquets similar in color and shape, one or two photos of cakes, and little info about your personalities. Then, put your trust in us, give the designers a little creative freedom, and then be "wowed".

👻 Soooo we’ve been doing a few weddings at this newer site.. since COVID hit and one of our usual spots was unavailable to book for ceremonies
This is one of our secret locations.... can anyone guess what city??😯😯
I’ll give you a guess....
It’s west of Denver 😉😂😂

Blue Lakes, Breckenridge.
Rounds Park. This is a public park near Breckenridge. It has some great open lawns for ceremonies, and a pond with a little dock. It is great for the small elopement style wedding. It is first come first serve, and must remain open to the public. The parking area is small, so I encourage carpooling.
Officers Gulch Pond. The video doesn’t show it but there are snowcapped mountain peaks all around us. There’s no official ceremony site, so I would gather at the entrance and walk as a group with your photographer to a very scenic spot around the lake to exchange vows. It is low-key, there are picnickers and people fishing, but they are spread out and everybody keeps to themselves.
A clearing on the Oro Grand Trail. The pros are the views and it is definitely off the beaten path, it is easily hiked and I would even say a leisurely stroll. It overlooks Lake Dillon, you can see the marina and the town below. The parking lot can get busy, and the trail is a popular one.
Going up to summit county today to check out some alternate rogue ceremony sites – keep checking back as we will take short video clips of these places. I don’t know about the permitting or any regulations of these sites, but I will find out. For now this is a information gathering mission. If you know about permitting regulations for any of these, please comment!
My eight-year-old son is the Videographer, so sorry for the quality!
