Of course not! Pro tools, like the ones you would find in the Adobe Suite, offer a level of control and flexibility that Canva will NEVER be able to replicate.

Okay, did we lose all of the graphic designers yet? Good!

During one of my design courses in college, I became particularly fond of Adobe InDesign. Once I got over the hurdle of learning all the intricacies of the settings panel, I loved the freedom it offered during the design process. But I quickly discovered its limitations - the need to transfer projects from program to program based on what medium you were working with at the time.

“Why not put all of the best features from each program into one POWERFUL design tool? The first company that figures this out will completely disrupt the design industry.”

While I believe Canva still has a lot of room for improvement, particularly when it comes to processing/editing large video files, it has become a Jack of All Trades while being a Master of None.

So, who is it for? The everyday business owner and content creator who wants a powerful tool to help them rapidly create visuals for a variety of platforms. Creatives who need something to quickly transfer their ideas onto paper. Lastly, professional designers who are humble enough to realize the potential for time saved.
