🌳 Blakeley + Jack 🌳

Friends from the initial phone call. We keep thinking we’ve maxed out. There’s no way we keep meeting clients we just mesh with immediately but here we go again!

Blakeley and Jack are fun! And so are their families. And so are their friends. From our coffee dates that hopped back and forth from life to wedding chat over and over to the best visits from B’s sweet momma. The entire process was a treat.

Jump to the wedding day and whewwww weeee, a florist who has been a friend of the family since Blakeley was born, one of our fav bands of all time, and the actual best weather for May. It was our first of 3 Magnolia Way weddings this spring season and it was the perfect kick off.

You know the story by now, we’ll catch up over a coffee and a doggy snuggle soon, brand new Crowleys. 🐶☕️

🏌🏻‍♀️ Caroline + Harrison 🏌🏻

When two golfers wed it’s bound to be a hole in one! With Julianne at the design + floral reigns, a gorgeous ceremony at Eastminster, and a wedding date that doubles as Master’s Sunday it’s a verified par-tee. (Ok, we’ll stop ha!)

Azalea signature cocktails in hands, dancing feet all over the floor and a boat exit for their getaway - you felt the love and happiness all day long! I know it seems like we’re making stuff up at this point but it was also Harrison’s birthday!!! (These people know how to do it big!)

To our sweet couple, here’s to a life of no hazards. (My husband said people will get this golf reference but I didn’t know it so, lmk k? 😜)

🌦️ Ashley + Ben 🌦️

No. Notes. Their wedding fell right in the middle of busy (and for this year, rainy) season and it was the most amazing day filled with joy, love, and all of the best emotions. A rain plan ceremony that rivaled most plan A options, a party that could not be stopped, and immaculate vibes from the food to the florals to the dancing - so much amazing dancing.

Ashley and Ben are those clients, the ones you’re a little too honest and weird around because they instantly felt like friends. The ones you send work text and personal texts with because the level of comfortability is so natural. We all joke about the “wedding break up” after the big day because the need to communicate so frequently drops, but really sometimes it’s just a transition from client to friend. LOVE y’all, Portnoys. 💓💓💓 it’s see ya later, not goodbye.

I almost didn’t post this but I’m just too dang proud of us. Last Friday for Carl and in 10 days for me, marks the successful completion of a year with the twinny girls and baby four for us. It hasn’t always been easy but showing our kids moms can be more than just moms is so cool. On the heels of Mother’s Day, to any mom in any form, we see you. We love you. We know it’s so dang hard + rewarding at the same time and we think you’re amazing.

Do I recommend getting pregnant at the same time as your bestie/bus partner for work purposes? No. Do I recommend it for life purposes? YES.

Happy Mothers Day to all. We are so lucky to spend our days surrounded by so much love from mothers. Watching mother son dances, hearing heartfelt speeches, and seeing women watch their children as they embark on their next stage of life. It’s an honor and now we’re tearing up… xoxoxo, amb + carl

How it’s going ➡️ how it started.

3 kids ago. Almost 8 years ago. A new wife and mom with a big dream. I still pinch myself regularly that somehow, some way, some perfect movement in the universe led me here. Eternally grateful for every moment that brought me to 2025’s version of A Moi. With a TEAM. With over 400 weddings behind me. With a job I’m so proud of. 🥹

Friendor - (n) a wedding vendor whose relationship level surpasses the professional bond. Someone who supports you in front of your face and to others when you aren’t around. Someone who could be deemed “competition” but instead chooses to uplift because there’s enough to go around.

Columbia has always embodied the term “friendor” to me. A kinda cheesy way to describe a loving team mentality in our sweet town. When The Laundry asked us to plan a shoot + grand opening party for the city we love we were thrilled! (And honored ☺️)

We give you, The Laundry. She’s new but also old. She’s inside but also outside. She’s bricks and green space. She’s downtown but with parking. We may be biased but WHEW, she’s pretty and def worth a pop over to the Bull Street District. Courtney, Todd, and the laundry vendor crew - it was tremendously fun and timelessly pretty! 🩵

🦄 Madison + Alex 🦄

A unicorn weekend to start a long spring stretch of weddings. Old friends, so many former and future clients, and a weather day that makes you wanna slap your mama it’s so good. (Is that the saying? We’d never actually slap a mama)

The Quillens are special and we talked behind the scenes so much through out the night about how the air just felt heavy with love. The best DJ in the land, food to get seconds over, florals that were on another level, and truly just the best dang team around. LOVE SICK custom hats, tambourines to shake it like you mean it, and a crew with just the right amount of rowdy. We won’t be over this one any time soon and we won’t be shocked when Vogue comes a ringing. ☎️

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our intern turned assistant and babysitter extraordinaire! The one, the only, Maya. Who always shows up. Who loves our families like they are here own. And if she didn’t have such lofty dreams and goals in life, we’d hire on full time in a SECOND! 🎂

Sunday after a wedding + Sunday of spring break = Amber and Carilee in good moods. 😘😜

We had a gorgggggina wedding yesterday with some of our favorite vendors and now, we rest! 💤

Six weddings left for our spring/early summer rally and we’re SO PUMPED. 💪🏼
