When I received an email from asking if I wanted to be featured in their March, April and May publications, I couldn’t quite believe it. This is a huge business milestone achieved and I am so incredibly grateful for it.

Your wedding dress is a really important and personal element of your wedding day. It should evoke your personality and style. Here are a few designers I love:

1. I know I’m biased, but it goes without saying - simply stunning
2. utterly beautiful, feminine and timeless (plus bows feature heavily 😍). Simply stunning.
3. have recently released their bridal collection and it is beautiful. So classic, yet modern and fun. You must check it out!
4. truly unique and beautiful. I just love all of Phoebe’s designs. Bespoke and utterly stunning.
5. so so pretty, feminine and whimsical. The lace and detailing in the designs is gorgeous. So unique.

It’s the ability to add personal touches that define your wedding as YOUR wedding.

These napkin bows with embroidered initials for the bride and groom from the wonderful were a surprise on the day from me to the couple. The rest of the guests had smaller non-embroidered bows. But creating something unique for the bride and groom created a special moment and an item they can keep and cherish forever.

Plus they make such a statement and look so gorgeous! 🎀

I love a marquee wedding!
They provide a blank canvas with pretty much endless possibilities, allowing your personalities to really shine through on your wedding day. From the flowers, to the dance floor, to the catering - your day done totally your way.

You may have seen a post from me a few weeks ago where I talked about the various roles I had at C & H’s wedding. One of them being trying my hand at making the bouquets and bud vases. Not my usual service! 😂

But it was so lovely being able to contribute in this way, bringing in seasonal autumnal flowers. Think I’ll leave the flowers to the professionals in future, though!

Pantone have announced their colour of the year for 2025: Mocha Mousse (which, btw, sounds scrumptious and I don’t even like coffee!). Inspired by the need for earthy, nature-inspired and sustainable designs.

Well that’s pretty perfect for me then! All my designs are inspired by nature and looks like we were a year ahead for R & E’s earthy colour palette this August. So natural, so beautiful.

Want a wedding that’s a bit different? You don’t need a traditional wedding venue to have a wedding! There are so many ways and places you can get married now. And alternative venues make for some of the best weddings.

C & H had a tiny ceremony at the local registry office and then celebrated properly the next day at a house they rented for the weekend for all their family and friends to stay in. It was SO MUCH FUN and so personal to them as a couple. It really made for the perfect intimate wedding venue.

Been a while since I said hello and I have a few new followers (thank you!) so thought I should introduce myself!

💫I’m a design-led wedding planner, living in Yorkshire. I believe in creating weddings that have you and your guests at their very centre. I am inspired by nature and believe in the beauty of the natural world in helping craft your wedding day

💫 I love bows. I have soooo many clothes with bows over them (case in point in these images 🤣) I even had a giant bow on my wedding dress! If you want them incorporated into your wedding, then I’m all for it.

💫 Travelling and being outdoors are two of my favourite things. Travelling helps bring new ideas to my wedding designs. I’d love to go to South America next!

💫 I love to sing! Just ask my family 🤦🏽‍♀️ Mum always said I could sing before I could talk. Music is so emotive and an integral part of your wedding day. Choose it wisely to help create the perfect atmosphere. You’ll probably find me listening to a wide range of music, but Taylor and Carrie Underwood will always be a go to!

💫 I rowed for 4 years whilst at University, including a small stint in the States whilst on a placement. I don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t rowed as I made some of my best friends through the sport and even met my wonderful husband thanks to it. Sport and exercise are still an integral part of my life.
