SBC Event Rentals was founded to provide our local community with affordable and reliable party equipment rentals. We started with just a few table linens to select from, but we are growing yearly to offer a wide range of services and equipment. I decided to start SBC because I love decorating, orchestrating events, and cultivating lasting memories. We have added a home decor and gift shop to the

business. I love being able to provide an option for our customers to decorate in their own haven. I grew up in Anacortes, WA, and have nestled down in Whidbey proper for over a decade with my husband, Jules, who is retired from the Navy. I enjoy all the outdoor adventures the PNW offers, from gardening to being on the Sound. We have two energetic beautiful daughters who are unique and adventurous; we love watching them experience their world. We make the best of every day and embrace the ever-changing waves of life. I would love to connect for any of your event needs.

#2 Love Notes Galore: Valentine's Day is synonymous with expressions of love and affection, and it's no surprise that it's the second-largest card-giving holiday after Christmas. In fact, an estimated one billion Valentine's Day cards are exchanged globally each year, showcasing the enduring tradition of sending heartfelt messages to loved ones.

#3 Sweet Tradition: Exchanging chocolates and sweets has become a delightful tradition associated with Valentine's Day. The connection between love and chocolate dates back to the 19th century when Richard Cadbury introduced the first heart-shaped box of chocolates.
