It’s almost one year anniversary for these two 🥹❤️ Also marks my last wedding before I became a mother. Although I’m still documenting many weddings, I’ve had to take it slow this year. Between this, my other small businesses, and parenthood - has been a little crazy. Fulfilling, but I’ve had to give myself time to breathe.

So grateful for the patience and love you all have shown me ❤️ I hope to be as supportive & return the love to you all

Their wedding day already passed but here I am posting so late 🫣 But I love sessions up in the mountains, and the most adorable corgi, Totcho! Going back up this weekend & I can’t wait ❤️

We don’t appreciate the San Gabriel Mountains enough. Always SO stunning.

I photograph all sorts of sessions at the stunning Pasadena City Hall, but this is absolutely one of my favs! Loved working with and vision for their engagement session.

This was roughly a 2 hour session, including 1 outfit change - but it really felt like the typical 1hr session! I was having so much fun being creative with them.

Super excited for their day in Hawaii with ❤️

I really need to work on posting more, I have so many galleries I want to share 🫣

These two had a vision for their engagement session and I am in love! The gloom didn’t dampen the session, loved the mood it gave us for this specific era themed shoot.

Throw back to this fun cat themed wedding 😻 at . I have so much 2023 weddings to catch up/post about - but I’m also now juggling a newborn and time has been passing in an extra blur now 😵‍💫

(I was actually 7mo pregnant at this wedding 😂)

Signed a few contracts this week and I’m beyond so excited to get back to swing of things! Thank you for everyone’s patience and support ❤️

Still dreaming about this sunset and these two ❤️

Been really hard to go on my maternity leave - I just love chasing the sunsets and taking in the beauty of our planet and the love that radiates around my subjects. Been doing smaller sessions now, families, engagements, etc. locally.

We are due next month, but I’m feeling so empowered & stronger than ever to be a working momma 💪🏻 I am proud to have created this business I get to call mine, and forever thankful for every single one of you who have supported and believed in me ❤️

This was an early morning session, and sometimes I need the extra energy to pump up the couple (and myself, lol). But these two needed none of that - SO fun, so full of love. Despite them waking up at 4am 😅 Feeling so lucky to capture so many beautiful couples ❤️

Can’t wait to celebrate with them 2024!

Akiko T. Liu – Photographer Marketing expert during the weekdays, crazy cat lady armed with cameras on the weekends! I am an absolute believer in my Sony Mirror-less cameras and usually shoot with 2 cameras. One with Zeiss Batis 85mm for gorgeous, creamy bokeh portraits, one for wider, still sharp 35mm Sony Distagon lens with Zeiss glass. Prime lenses are my go-to, and I also have a macro lens to capture all the small details of your day!
