All wrapped up and ready for winter. I’m so happy I took the ABC Bees: Apiaries & Bees for Communities beginner beekeeping course from Eliese Watson through NAIT. There was so much information to take in and the ability to go back and watch the videos and read the notes for this first year has been so beneficial. Let’s just hope these girls make it through winter now!!! 🤞🐝

I spent yesterday at The Cheesiry learning how to make Fresco and Havarti cheese. Thanks so much to Rhonda for sharing all her knowledge with the group and walking us through the steps to cheese making, as well as the delicious lunch and tour of the farm to meet the cute little milk makers:). I have a whole new appreciation for all the hard work that goes into this process!!
