About HUSH Virtual Lounge

In January 2013, Hush Martini Lounge opened it’s doors to the public in beautiful Isabela, Puerto Rico. Unlike many of the local venues in the region (about 118 km from San Juan or 1hr and 30 minute drive), HUSH brought a new concept unlike any other at the time to the West Coast. Its objective was to create and environment where you felt both the city style appeal through it’s fancy martini drinks, draperies, lounge furniture and soft ambient lighting with the tropical beauty of the Island. The first location was on a hilltop which faced a main known boulevard (Carretera #2) which gave it a metropolitan feeling. After one year, it relocated to Jobos Beach in Isabela, once again on a hilltop however with a breathtaking panoramic ocean front view which could be gazed at from its courtyard which served also as one of two areas of music and entertainment. This location became the home for Hush Martini Lounge for the next several years and would serve as the outlet for many House Music Lovers from the region and abroad. During that time, we had the privilege to host some amazing parties with Dj/producers that had never visited the island or at least the West Coast of Puerto Rico. Hush became a beacon for many “House Heads” who were looking for a place that carried the music and the vibe they yearned for yet no one was offering at the time. In September of 2017, the structure that served as the home for Hush Martini Lounge was destroyed by hurricane Maria which became one of the most devastating hurricanes to hit Puerto Rico in history. This hurricane along with neighboring vandalism resulted in the permanent closing of HML just a few weeks shy of its expansion and grand opening of it’s Tapas Bar on the upper level which once again aimed to deliver a unique food menu for the region as it did once with its signature martinis. Hush Martini Lounge gained the trust of many of it’s patrons through great service and friendly staff members. We hope the memories of that service and place lives on for years to come with hopes perhaps one day, another venue can deliver the same great vibe Hush Martini Lounge did.

In 2020, Hush Martini Lounge becomes Hush Virtual Lounge, a home for House Music Lovers and the Djs that deliver it. Our focus is to introduce new music from Dj/Producers to keep our current followers and new followers entertained with what they love. For those who visited us when we were HML, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. For those now part of Hush Virtual Lounge, thank you for listening.
