I am sure most florists offer gift vouchers - usually those plastic credit card ones or even just email versions. But how much nicer is it to be given a colourful, sealed envelope with a beautiful card inside? So much more like a gift to give and to receive.

These were created for my business last year. Easy and very good value.

You pick the image from a selection or supply your own, have your logo and set your own T&Cs. Size of a postcard & supplied with colour co-ordinated envelopes.

The deal I had was 50 gift vouchers, 50 coloured envelopes, 2 x A4 posters for your window or counter, sent recorded delivery and all for £65.

She did a few other things for me too, like leaflets to promote a new subscription service & posters for some workshops.

I love Ramsbottom ❤️ I've lived here for 25 years and had florist shops for nearly all that time.

The local community is fabulous - supportive & encouraging. Our business has thrived because of that support & continues to do so.

So to read such a negative, despondent article about the demise of Ramsbottom in is very disappointing.

Bad news always makes a better story for the press but please present a balanced view!

Yes, times are harder, everything costs more and people have less disposable income. BUT there are some businesses in our pretty little town that are responding to those challenges, listening to their customers and adapting their offerings. Just like they did throughout the pandemic.

why didn't you speak to any of those?

I wanted to make sure a HUGE thank you went to all the wonderful customers who continue to support the local shops and a BIG pat on the back to our fellow retailers!

We love what we do & we love Ramsbottom so let's be a bit more positive and focus on the good things that are happening too.
