Finding a use for the leftover chocolate coins.

The christmas decorations have come down, but I think I will keep this arrangement around a little longer.

Today feels like the true start of the year, going over plans for the months ahead and writing many lists. There are so many exciting projects to look forward to, and I'm sure 2025 will have many surprises in store as well ✨️

Orange slices have been baked, pine cones gathered, and cinnamon sticks beribboned. Ready for the plunge into the festive season. I love October and November, their colour's and skies are just so beautiful. They offer a lull to gather and prepare as the wedding and growing season slows down. The next few months are full of such exciting projects, and I'm feeling ready for the richness of Christmas foliage after the golden browns of Autumn. 🌲

There's nothing like the texture and drama of dried flowers, foliage, and seed heads. With a little care, this arrangement is (almost) everlasting, giving you plenty of time to take in all those little details. If you're looking for a display to stay in place awhile, dried ingredients may be for you.

Built sustainably using the permanent candlearbra as its base, with British grown and dried, it's a showstopper.

A decadent breakfast on a summer morning (maybe closer to 9 am than 7 am).

Dahlias, Cosmos, Calendula, Crocosmia with some Zinnias sprinkled through. Full of vibrancy and life, pink and orange is a favourite colour combination of mine, particularly these hot pinks!

Happy Monday 🏵

A morning of gardening and an afternoon of planning is a lovely way to start the week. Particularly as the rain has stayed away for the last week or so!

I have an exciting couple of weeks coming up, photo shoots, arrangements for a rather special supper, and visits from dearest friends 🌸

A summer full of flowers and my favourite folk, what could be better?

Roll on August ☀️

The Lost Art of Keeping Secrets
by Eva Rice

My first job was a paper round, and i spent my hard earned cash on vintage dresses. A wise investment im grateful to my 14 year old self making! Around this time, i read The Lost Art of keeping Secrets by Eva Rice for the first time. Set in 1955, it fed my love of vintage clothes and crumbling manor houses.

This year-long series of photos is built around each of these treasured gowns. Creating the perfect flower crown and accessories to go with each.

Celebrating those folk who have made my life golden and capturing those shining moments when you are on the edge of everything happening, and exactly where you need to be.

Have the gown but not the flower crown? DM or email [email protected] and let's get chatting!
