Hola Gente bella! I will be making Colombian tamales Friday and Saturday. Tamales are a very typical dish in Colombia, the recipe for this goodies varies depending on the region you are in.
I'm from Valle del Cauca region, so the Tamales I make are vallecaucanos, it means I make them with corn flour, chicken, pork, potatoes, carrots, hogao and some other goodies wrapped in banana leaves for flavor and because it has a historical meaning behind it. The meat is marinated at least overnight. and they're steamed cooked.
