Want to create a beautiful tablescape but don’t know where to begin? We’re here to help.

We’ve pulled together our top 5 tabletop design tips just for you. Save this post and refer back the next time you’re entertaining.

1. Choose the basics - white, ivory, tan, gray - as a starting point to build from. For example, many people have dinner plates in these shades.
2. Add in color. Select a color palette and use those colors throughout. Three colors is a good place to begin. You can always add more later.
3. Patterns are a plus. Salad plates and linens are great pieces to play with pattern. We especially love pattern-on-pattern in the same color scheme.
4. Height is key. Candles, florals, glassware, and more should vary in height for visual interest.
5. Personal touches go a long way. There are so many great name card options available. We have even written names on fruit with edible markers!
We also love the idea of incorporating a vintage/family decor piece to a table to personalize the experience.
