I bought a camera harness and I’m not sad about it!
I’ve always seen other photographers with camera harnesses and always wondered what they were like.
WHAT HAVE I BEEN MISSING THE WHOLE TIME! It has been great to be able to have the cameras hanging off me without worrying about the straps getting tangled . A great purchase! 🙌🏼🤩

How are we in Mid-March already? This year has flown! However, I’d love to share with you another special moment during a recent trip through Sydney in January!

As a photographer, I love to capture amazing venues and Alexandria is one of them! They still had their Christmas display up and I was fortunate enough to be there late afternoon when there were barely any customers. I took multiple photos with nobody in it, and intentionally avoid 5 kids playing around. They were so sweet and we didn’t get in each others way.

However , I kept seeing moments with these girls and I couldn’t help but think of how cute it would be to capture them. So I asked them if they would take me to their parents who were just at the restaurant right next to the entrance having a good catch up. I said, if the girls were keen and the parents , if they were wouldn’t mind me taking some photos. I’d been there for hours, but it would be so cute to capture their girls playing amongst it! They of course, said yes.. and I emailed them the photos!

Sometimes it’s nice to just capture something that you see would be worth capturing. Safe to say their mums were very happy!

In honour of Valentine’s Day, I’d love to share with you about Robert & Rhonda! 🥰

I was on holiday in Victoria last week and stopped by in the Yarra Valley as I was leaving. I had a shot set up when a lovely couple walked into my frame! I’m never afraid to take a nice photo, then delete it if they don’t want it.
After they sat down, I approached their table and said “Hey I just took a nice photo of you walking into the estate when you walked passed me - would you like me to email it to you?”.

Rhonda went shy, then Robert said “It’s actually our 27th Anniversary today, so that would actually be really nice”.

Because it was a special date for them, I offered to take a few more shots which they loved and were happy for me to share!

I’m forever grateful for this thing called ‘kindness’. Every now and then, it’s nice to do something nice , just ‘because’. It’s wonderful when you hear people’s stories .

Happy Valentine’s Day to you all! May we show love in many ways! 💕

Annnnnd THAT’S A WRAP! 👩🏻‍🎓
Bachelor of Film & TV degree complete! 🎬

In June this year I competed my final subject at and officially graduated on 4th December 2023.

Since July I’ve worked on a few feature films and have been blown away by what I’ve learned on set and my knowledge from the degree! 🎬

Doing full time study while running a business certainly wasn’t easy these past few years, and couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of my lecturers, and friends & family who believed in me every single step of the way!

There was one point where I almost gave up.. and one of my Core Lectures continued to tell me (as did every other teacher) that I could do it and gave me a laminated quote that still lives on my fridge:

‘Promise me you always remember:
You’re braver than you believe, stronger
than you seem, and smarter than you think.’

It is never too late to pursue your passion - I did it as a matured aged person! I am so thankful for what I’ve accomplished in this year alone and so grateful for the support from those who stuck by me despite me being extremely busy. Can’t beleive I now have a degree! 👩🏻‍🎓

To commemorate this special occasion, I booked my incredible photographer and friend .
It was nice to have photos taken of me for a change! Couldn’t be happier with your amazing work Dallas
– thank you! 🙏🏻🥹

SHE SAID YES!! 💍

The wait is over!!! When Josh emailed me in July saying that he and his girlfriend were travelling from the U.K. and that he was going to propose on the boat in November, I said yes! 😉📸

How beautifully special it was to plan this with Josh for his special surprise for his, now, fiancé, Sydney !!

Huge congratulations to you both and thanks to for being so wonderful and accommodating!
