Hi. I'm writing to invite you to camp, drum and dance for one night with our friends at the Upper Tampa Bay Conservation Park at 8001 Double Branch Rd., Tampa, FL 33635 on Saturday, November 16th after 6 PM (Saturday night to Sunday morning). It's a Forever Drummers event. Our group will be the only ones in the park after 6 PM. The park only allows for a maximum capacity of 40 people. First 40 to pay can attend. We can drum all night long. The park restrooms are nice, always kept clean and will be kept open for us. The next day on either Sunday morning or early afternoon some of us will kayak or paddleboard, some around the beautiful mangroves and others all the way to Tampa Bay. Others might walk/hike the extensive park trails or walk the long boardwalk. After that everyone should check out the nature center. It's a really nice park at the end of 8 miles of conservation for the preservation of our Tampa Bay. The charge for camping is $20 or whatever extra you may want to donate. 100% of it will be applied towards buying drums for the kids that take the conga beats classes at the Hillsborough County Jackson in Springs recreation center. All accounts statements info, receipts and pictures of kids receiving their drums will be posted on Facebook for the sake of transparency. You will also be charged two dollars for driving a car into the park. Campers (vehicles) aren't allowed. Dogs are allowed but only on leashes and owners will be responsible for picking up their dog's p**p. Also, I will be putting much effort into leaving zero garbage behind. I'm asking that everyone in our group to please not leave even a cigarette butt behind. Feel free to bring food and drinks either for yourself or to share with the group as a potluck. Our group always does well in that regard.

We're reclaiming our worth after a break from music festivals. Our passion remains, but we've often faced underappreciation, unfair pay, or exploitation by festival organizers. We envision a future where our drum circle's value is recognized, and our fire tenders and drummers receive fair compensation, just as DJs and bands do. To sustain our art, we require upfront payment to cover costs, ensuring our contributions are valued and respected.
