This Saturday, November 9th, at the Kehrein Center for the Arts, we proudly support the YP1 4th Annual Pitch Competition, which inspires young adults aged 14-24 to showcase their ideas and talents. This event not only enhances their visibility but also significantly boosts their confidence!

Adding to the excitement, Mi Casa family’s very own, the hilarious , will perform stand-up during the VIP dinner portion of the event.

As we prepare to plant the seeds for this next chapter of Mi Casa Holiday, we reflect on our journey since 2009 and the bold moves we made in 2021 during the pandemic. 2024 marks another exciting evolution in our vision.

Just four short years ago, our Mi Casa Holiday family faced one of the scariest yet most extraordinary moments of our lives. Amid the grim outlook of the C19 pandemic, we refused to let a year pass without connecting. Together, we contributed our talents and spread the word to produce one of the most ambitious virtual music festivals the internet had ever seen.

MCH was reimagined as a 7-day, 24-hour cable broadcast—180 straight hours of DJ sets, dance lessons, art, inspirational talks, professional workshops, cooking segments, comedy skits, and talent showcases. All of this was in support of a small but mighty nonprofit, (YP1), which helps under-resourced young adults follow their passions into entrepreneurship or the workforce.

The virtual event saw over 25,000 streams, and we collectively raised $10,000 for young adults in YP1’s Young Ambassador Program across the USA, Brazil, and South Africa.

This November 9th, let’s come together again to support YP1 for their 4th Annual Pitch Competition & Music Festival! Your contribution and involvement can continue to make a difference in empowering the next generation of leaders.

The countdown to MCH Sweet 16 in Cuba has begun, and it’s not too late to be part of this unforgettable adventure! 🎉
