Christine Auten started her career in anime back in the crazy 1990’s. In the more that 20 years since, she has been fortunate enough to have worked on hundreds of anime and live action titles as a voice actor, scriptwriter and ADR director.

We've got plenty of people promoting us at Anime Matsuri (no relation) and at E***i Fiesta (also no relation). We may have SOLD OUT (?) every vendor booth, but we'll definitely need to see what the final numbers are Monday morning.

Thank you all so much for the amazing work, so far. Very soon, we will have new promotional materials, new merch, and our second official guest announcement. Everything has been coming together much faster than last year, so this gives us more time to actively advertise and promote in ways we've only dreamt of. One of the really cool things that we love to do, ESPECIALLY because we're a more flexible and close-knit show... is creating curated vendor and artist graphics. Not only does your business or brand feel more in tune with our guest and performer announcements, but your table or booth space, your preferred social media handle, and/or your logo all get showcased for any of our fans or yours to find you at our show. We will be announcing each and every one of you very soon, in between our daily posts, as soon as you are properly vetted and secured. Last year, we were floored by the wonderful panels and performances we had last year. Idols, KPop Halftime Show, a BJD panel, manga panel, cosplay panels, push-up contest, trivia contest, Family Feud, car show, EDM DJs...

Lighthouse Matsuri is what you make of it. That is our core message, from Day One. And we're damn proud of that statement.

With that being said and done, we are opening our Stage Form and including a BRAND NEW Talent Show to boot! 5 minute skits? Martial arts demo? A chance to moderate a voice actor Q&A panel? Come one, come all, and get your chance to shine... because even though we're next to an actual lighthouse, the brightest beacon is you. ✨

We are hella excited to announce that Kyle Hebert is our FIRST guest announcement for the Lighthouse Matsuri: Nxt.Wav, January 25th-26th, 2025, live and in person at the for the entire weekend! 🥳

Kyle Hebert is a Los Angeles-based anime and video game voice actor whose credits include Wreck-It Ralph/Street Fighter (Ryu), My Hero Academia (Fatgum), Naruto (Kiba), Bleach (Aizen), Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (Kakyoin), League of Legends (Ezreal, Jarvan, and Graves) and Gurren Lagann (Kamina). He is best known as the Narrator and adult Gohan from the Funimation dub of Dragonball Z, and Dragonball Super (Gohan). Other fan faves include Blue Exorcist (Bon Suguro), Fire Emblem Awakening (Frederick, Validar), Fullmetal Alchemist (Vato Falman), Tales of Symphonia (Richter Abend) and Star Ocean (Dias, Arumat, Crow). Our first guest announcement tomorrow is gonna be wild, for sure, but we also want to provide more opportunities for the media to join along. Please read the form in its entirety before signing up, but if you are properly vetted, you will be credited and recognized as a sanctioned member of the media. This includes Event Center, Host Hotel, pre-approved offsite photo sessions, and more. You will also be given access to the exclusive Friday Night Mixer and Quantic Beach Music Fest on Saturday. After a weekend of promoting our event, we now get back to our regularly scheduled posts.

Our first major voice actor for Nxt.Wav WILL be announced this Wednesday. 7pm CST. It took a lot to keep this under wraps, but we want to make our posts meaningful, for each and every one of you out there. All we can say for our Rio Grande Valley audience... it's a guest that hasn't been here in over almost three years. 😀

All seven of our voice actors last year had an amazing time with us, and the Nxt.Wav guests are also hyped. Some of the best of the best artists and vendors any convention could ask for have been made aware of our presence. It only feels natural that the evolution of the Lighthouse Matsuri attracts even more wonderful and amazing people that are looking for a beacon in the sea.

It took 22 days to sell out every table and booth space we could fit. Let's break past the waves, and hit the shoreline hard with this one! ⚓️

We were able to cultivate such an enthusiastic aura with our show due to the many original merch and promotional pieces of our mascot, Rika, and we plan on elevating our entire experience to even greater heights for Lighthouse Matsuri Nxt.Wav. 🤯

Tomorrow, we will begin our updates with a Badge Art Contest. Full rules will be explained by then. Thursday and Friday, we will have more posts to explain our new ticket types, as well as VIP perks and more. Then, guest announcements will be happening after that next Monday. We are excited to report that... drumroll, please... we are definitely coming back next year! 🥳

Everything still has to go through the proper channels, but we will let you all know all of the details as soon as we can. It may sound like a broken record at this point, but thank you all so much. Our graphics may just be pretty pictures, but each of you gave this a life of its own. You took our mantra to heart. The is what you made of it, and it's all because of you that our guests had such an amazing time. In turn, they bounced that energy back at you, and... yeah, our event was shining brighter than the Historic Lighthouse right across the boulevard. With that, we will be taking our time so that we can build something bigger and better for you. A year might feel like forever, but every day towards it is a step closer to that next magical moment. ❤

We want this show to be safe and fun for everyone, so this includes language, behavior, attire, and the general well-being of everyone in attendance. Here's a much closer look at the layout. Entrances, spaces, bathrooms and registration area. Unless you are a vendor or artist, please be mindful of the load in/load out area, and we will have people at the other doorways, to make sure that anyone that needs to re-enter has a proper wristband or badge.

We know a lot of you are coming in from all over. In order to make your weekend as fun and enjoyable as possible, here's the parking lot layout. We will talk to the city in regards to ADDITIONAL parking, just in case, but here are the current designated spaces you can park your car at.

There is also a FREE shuttle bus near the hotel every half an hour, from 7am-9pm, that will drop you off at the area or even the if you want to save on fuel. The service is called The Wave, and the shuttles are seafoam teal in color. When you see one you want to get on, just wave at The Wave. 😀

A lot of you have been asking, and rightfully so.

Here is the bite sized square version of our entire weekend schedule. We'll be posting up both Event Center and Beach Resort maps, parking spaces for the , and our Code of Conduct in a bit later tonight. That will explain our props policy, as well as general behavior for the duration of the event. We will also post our at-the-door ticket prices, because while they do go up, we want to ensure that the price increase is fair and reasonable to the people that bought their tickets early.
