The Queen Bee gets her Peeps purse!
River City Steam Expo
I’m really looking forward to the River City Steam Expo this year! I’ll be teaching a medal making class and serving cocktails and mocktails. I’m also teaching a class with Stevan Krhut, where he will be discussing mead, and I will be talking about one of my favorite foods… honey! He will be also serving up some of his very own hand crafted mead!
Mark your calendars now!

River City Steampunk Expo
The rain and wind didn’t stop us from an amazing time at “Cryptids by the Creek” at Dutch Creek winery in Athens, Ohio this weekend.
The pictures of the winery I’ve seen didn’t do it justice. Nestled in a picturesque setting, even with the weather being what it was, there was a sense of peacefulness and happiness surrounding everyone.
I want to send a huge shout out for all the hard work the Freedman’s put into hosting at their winery and Inger (Steampunk Xena) for her effort, exuberance and talent.
I was humbled at how far some people drove to attend and we even introduced some locals to Tea Dueling.
A local photographer in attendance had never heard of Steampunk and by the end of the day he just was so excited about getting more involved and learning as much as he could.
Once LIAM, William Cardwell, has a chance to do edits, I’ll post his pictures. But for now, I’ll share what I managed to take.
I can’t wait to go back to Athens, Ohio and look forward to staying in the Caboose at Dutch Creek!
