Another beautiful wedding and another fantastic outing for The Crafty Camper!

We’ve been looking forward to Jenny and Nate’s wedding since the day she said yes and we’re so proud to have been a part of it!

Doddington, We’re back!

We’ve begun to fill out our calendar for the summer and have just added one of our favourite summer fetes!

We’ll be serving once more at Doddington Village Fete on the 27th August!

Today the harsh realities of the turbulent climate we’re in showed how optimism will only take you so far in business.

It’s a sad day and one I’ve been dreading for a while now.

The mechanics have informed us that there’s some substantial work that needs doing if we’re to get the Crafty Camper up and running again.

It made us question the sustainability and practicality of running two hospitality ventures during a time of such uncertainty - and with a heavy heart we’ve decided today is the day we retire The Crafty Folding Table!

The good news is - The Crafty Camper is fixed up and raring to go!

We’re quietening down a little now moving in to the Autumn months but chomping at the bit for any more bookings!

If you’ve got an event coming up or know someone who does and could do with the world’s most breathtaking mobile bar serving there - hit us up!

If the last few years has taught me anything it’s that evolution, being prepared to adapt and optimism are the only way to succeed in business!

Last night we suffered a substantial clutch-related injury on the way home from the wedding which threatened to scupper our plans of serving delicious beer and cider at Doddington’s Village Fete - but we knew we couldn’t let those thirsty Doddington folk down!

Emergency plans were put together this morning to ensure the show must go on and the Crafty Folding Table was born!

Perfect for anyone out there who loves good beer but hates beautiful Campervans!

Available for bookings this week only (or until we can get the van fixed up!)

What a picture perfect day it’s been! The venue is stunning, the sun has been shining non-stop and the drinks have been going down a dream!

It was only fitting that the Crafty Camper’s first nautical themed event ended with a helpful sailor bailing cupfuls of water out of the van!

Regardless of the weather, we assembled the finest team since Steve Rogers and Tony Stark put aside their differences and served up some beautiful beer at the 50th Annual Swale Match!

We’ll be back there next year with our hands firmly clasped together, muttering the words “please stay sunny” over and over again!

Next up - a charity race night! Serving great beer and raising money for a very good cause! 🍻

The camper fit in perfectly at Loz and Luke’s boho festival themed day - and they’ve been featured on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings! ❤️

Lauren and Luke totally smashed it out of the park with their Lynsted Park real wedding in Kent. Their day was all festival vibes, fun times and boho styling. Yes!

When we closed our roof after the last event 673 days ago - it’s safe to say we weren’t expecting the crazy space of time ‘till our next one!

But today is that day!

And what a fitting event it is! On the night before our first ever event, Loz and Luke were sat in the then pub car park watching us finish the final preparations!

Another person that this project could not have been without...
In true Harvey fashion, the van was finished about eight hours before it was due to be serving at a wedding! 🤷‍♂️

Thankfully, Crispy had been working his ass off the previous 2 weeks to complete the internals of the van, literally all of it, floor, bar, work surface, electrics... you name it, Rich sorted it!
What a fantastic job he did!

On this journey so far there are few people that have helped out quite as much has he has! From giving the van a home whilst we worked on it to making the striking stainless bar! Ro has had a part to play at every step!
