De-Monique inizia a lavorare come dj nella stagione 1999/2000, sonorizzando l'ora dell'aperitivo della domenica agli Ex Magazzini di Roma, traducendo in musica tutto il suo background fatto di ritmiche etniche, ambient ed elettronica, sapientemente fusi in una inconfondibile miscela di suoni. Ma in seguito saranno l'ipnotismo e il pure state of mind a prendere il sopravvento e a caratterizzare i dj set di De-Monique che ancora oggi sceglie tutto ciò che riporta col pensiero al concetto di old school. Techno, electro ma anche deep house e psichedelia pura per viaggiare al ritmo del respiro della terra e del battito del cuore.
Già ideatrice e creatrice di eventi come Hot4Tandoori - che hanno caratterizzato la scena capitolina per circa un decennio - una notte in macchina con le sue amiche del cuore e rientrando da un party che l’aveva delusa e annoiata, concepisce l’idea di un evento completamente al femminile, sia dal punto di vista artistico che tecnico e di produzione, che dopo una lunga gestazione sarebbe diventato FEMALE CUT del quale è stata una delle menti e una delle dj resident. Oggi fa parte del progetto internazionale Female:Pressure e ha all'attivo Ologenesis, un Ep in digitale uscito su REK Records a marzo 2018 e un Ep inedito, di prossima uscita

De-Monique started working as a dj since 1999 at Magazzini Generali's aperitif. Ethnic rhythms, ambient music and electronica mixed together gave actually life to her personal soundscapes and sets. But in recent years this vision has turned into a more complex view she define "OLD SKOOL" made of hypnotic sets mainly based on techno and electro music but deep house and psichedelia as well. The aim is to conduct the audience into a pure state of mind following the rhythm of earth's breathing and heartbeat. Already founder and creator of events such as Hot4Tandoori - that have characterized the Capitoline scene for about ten years - one night, long time ago, she was going home with her very close girlfriends after a bad party in a club. She was bored and quite disappointed and she started to think about a party all made by women. All means from the artistic concept to the technical side. After a very long "building" time, FEMALE CUT came out and De-Monique became one of the creator and one of the resident dj. Now she is part of the international project Female:Pressure and she has made Ologenesis, a digital EP released on REK Records in March 2018 and another still unpublished one soon to be released.
