Good Morning Greendale! The Giant orange pumpkin has risen over Gazebo Park and we are ready for another great day at Hallowings. We start at 11 am and conclude at 9 pm. Our pumpkin thrower TREBY will be smashing pumpkins at Jaycee Park from 11-2 pm. Come down and join the fun. Kids get ready for the Halloween parade tomorrow at 2:30, we stage at 2:00 pm at Jaycee Park. Watch for the Ghostbuster car and lots of candy 🙂

As part of Hallowings, Gift of Wings will be smashing pumpkins on Saturday Morning from 11 am until 2 pm in Jaycee Park right across from the Greendale high School. I love smashing pumpkins! Hallowings continues with in Gazebo park from 11 am until 9 pm on Saturday.

The Giant Orange Pumpkin rises over Gazebo Park in Greendale right now. Hallowings Day 2 starts at 4pm this afternoon. Carve a Pumpkin for FREE and leave it for Gift of Wings to light up. We want to have the largest pumpkin display in Milwaukee County. Skelly the giant skeleton is now watching you and the Stay Puff Marshmallow man will be back up on Thursday. Check out the Gift of Wings famous Apple Cider Mini donuts and enjoy a juicy Johnsonville Brat and Milwaukee Pretzel.

I told you that the STAY PUFF MARSHMELLOW MAN would be coming to Greendale and here he is in Gazebo Park right now for Hallowings. Hallowings starts Oct 22 through Oct 27th, with the Halloween parade on Sunday at 2:30 pm. Kids in costume are encouraged to participate. We line up at Jaycee Park at 2:00 pm. We have a special appearance by The Ghostbusters Car, ECTO1.
Don't doubt me :) Drive by and take a look!

Join the celebration of Hallowings this year in the Historic Greendale Village! Help carve pumpkins for the largest jack-o-lantern display in Milwaukee, participate in a costume contest, crush the competition in pumpkin bowling, get scary to live music Thursday through Sunday, enjoy Egnitor the Wizard and so much more. You can also join the Wings Halloween Parade on Sunday, October 27th at 2:30. Children are encouraged to dress up in costume and walk the parade route!
This event goes on all next week so you have every opportunity to pack in the Halloween fun with the family. Dates are; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, October 22 through 24, 4-8 pm. Friday, October 25, 4-9pm, Saturday, October 26 11-9pm and Sunday, October 27 from 11-8pm. You can also pick up 4 Skeleton Kites from Gift of Wings!

Gift of Wings, Greendale park and Rec, and Grandhaven LLC are proud to present the 2024 Greendale Halloween parade, part of Hallowings. Hallowings runs from October 22nd through October 27th. Our parade will be held on Sunday October 27th at 2:30 pm. We will start at JC Park, and the parade will terminate at Hallowings in Gazebo Park, with a great costume contestat 3:15. Kids in costume are invited to participate in our newest parade, which features a replica of the Ghostbusters Car, with some Ghostbusters, and a 25 ft Stay Puff Marshmellow Man!

WHO YA GONNA CALL? Gift of Wings is gearing up for the BEST Hallowings ever and in Greendale. Carve a pumpkin for FREE and leave it for us to light up and create a spectacular Halloween display in Gazebo Park! NEW this year Gift of Wings is producing the Greendale Halloween parade on Broad St.. We start at 2:30 instead of later like we did in the past, on Sunday October 27th. We are looking for a lot of spooky kids and adults to march down Broad Street in their really scary costumes. So really excited to feature for the very first time in Greendale, The Ghostbusters ECTOMOBILE and a few Ghostbusters. If that is not cool enough, look out for the STAY PUFF MARSHMELLOW MAN, and a few other cool floats. Hallowings 2024 coming to Greendale on October 22nd through October 27th. You don't want to miss this event! More details coming soon.

Gift of Wings Grill is now at China Lights in the Whitnall Park Boerner Botanical Gardens. Celebrating the Year of the Dragon from September 13th through October 27th, and hosting a Great menu featuring The Best Ice Cream and Cheese Curds in Greendale and Hales Corners, along with Brats, Hot Dogs, Angus Burgers, Pizza, giant soft Pretzels and more. Gift of Wings, and you thought we were just a kite Store :)

It's Day 2 at the Frank Mots Int'l Kite Festival Presented by IKEA with stores in the Milwaukee/Chicago areas, and Gift of Wings. We start right now with our Grand Launch of 600 kites at noon . This is a FREE event with FREE parking. The Chicago Fire Kite Team, Connor and Amy Doran, WOW Pro Style, Fire and Ice, and Jim Cosca will be performing. The Giant Kites will be flown by our Canadian Dream Team and Jake from Montreal. Yesterday, Day 1, was unbelievable with the teams flying and the Giant Kites Flying high over Milwaukee.

We start at 10 am with the Grand Launch of 600 kites at noon on Saturday and Sunday. Thanks to our Friends at St Alphonse's School for inviting Gift of Wings, Connor and Amy Doran, and Yves Laforest and Anne, into the school for a kite demo inside yesterday. Let's Fly!
