Betty Lok is the founder of Betty Wonderful LLC, a creative studio specializing in event branding for corporate planners and experience-focused teams. She partners with planners to design cohesive visual identities—signage, stationery, and branded details—that elevate events and create lasting impressions.

With a background in marketing and a passion for storytelling, Betty brings both strategy and heart to the design process. Her work ensures every touchpoint feels intentional and aligned with the brand’s values, helping events look beautiful and communicate with clarity.

Based in Sonoma County, Betty is a WSET II-certified wine enthusiast, proud mom, and lifelong creative. She finds inspiration in thoughtful details—whether she’s crafting an event suite or playing Iron Chef with her daughter. Noveen Moinpour: Joy Seeker | Soon-To-Be Mama | World Traveler | Hat Wearer | Reliable

Femme Friday: This , we selected one of our fabulous 2021 Brides, Noveen Moinpour! Noveen is the queen of wearing a lot of hats. With a background in event production and marketing, the majority of Noveen's career has been in sports.

Noveen is an events and marketing pro with a strong background in sports and entertainment. She spent nearly a decade at the Pac-12, managing everything from major championship events to marketing strategy and community initiatives. With a passion for creating standout brand experiences and a knack for collaboration, Noveen brings both creativity and structure to every project. She's the queen of spreadsheets and organization. Recently, Noveen has pivoted into a consultant role in order to diversify her project load and give her the ability to explore all her various passions.

Although she'll tell you she's "slowing down" to get ready for her first child (due any day now), in addition to adding the role of mama to her arsenal, in the past year she's also joined her aunt's luxury travel business and gotten her CA real estate license. In her free time you'll find Noveen at a 49er game with her husband, trying out SF's newest restaurant, traveling to a new destination or baking a loaf of sourdough.

Femme Friday: This , we selected Caroline Patrickis. She is the kind of woman who’s just as comfortable chasing down strangers for a story as she is chasing the perfect glass of Cabernet—and making new friends along the way.

An Emmy Award-winning journalist turned outreach manager, Caroline built her career telling stories that mattered. Today, she uses that same voice to uplift others through community outreach, mentorship, and advocacy. Born to a Greek dad and a Korean mom, and raised in a small Louisiana town, she knew early on that the world had so much to offer—and she couldn’t wait to explore it. She's traveled to nearly 50 countries and is always planning the next adventure.

Now rooted in Northern Virginia, she shares a home with her goofy boxer dog (who definitely runs the show) and a wine collection that somehow keeps disappearing. Whether she’s diving into her next outreach project, booking her next getaway, or sipping red wine while reminiscing about a wild tuk-tuk ride in Southeast Asia—Caroline is always dreaming big, giving back, and living life to the fullest.

As the Community Engagement Specialist at the Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation, she plays an integral role in the Foundation's outreach projects, such as this month's collection drive, Clean & Dream Hygiene Drive.

Meredith Hovan: Rooted in Family | Dog Mom | Mental Health Advocate | Bleeds Husker Red (GBR!)

Femme Friday: Meredith Hovan is a seasoned fundraising professional with 25 years of experience supporting organizations in human services, affordable housing, and mental health. She currently serves as Advancement Manager for the Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation, where she leads efforts to engage corporate partners, credit union members, and community stakeholders. The Foundation’s mission is to empower youth to achieve their goals by supporting their health, well-being, and education.

Before joining the Foundation, Meredith spent nearly nine years as Director of Resource Development for HopeLink (formerly PRS), an organization dedicated to behavioral health and su***de prevention - causes that are deeply personal to her and ones she continues to champion beyond her professional role. She plays an integral role in the Foundation's outreach projects, such as this month's collection drive: Clean & Dream Hygiene Drive.

Meredith’s career includes fundraising for Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia, Cornerstones, and American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras. She holds a bachelor’s degree in arts management from Shenandoah University and Conservatory, where she also trained as a professional pianist. Meredith is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Fairfax, further deepening her commitment to community leadership and engagement.

Outside of work, Meredith stays just as busy volunteering with her son’s baseball league, the Herndon-Reston Youth Baseball League. She’s a proud baseball mom to her 10-year-old son, Bryce. If there’s a baseball-free weekend, you will find Meredith and her husband, Sean, exploring all that Virginia wine country and breweries have to offer, taking in a DC sports event, or going to a live concert.

After earning a BA in English with a theater minor from the University of Maryland (Go Terps!), she launched her career in the telecom industry during the .com boom, climbing the corporate ladder to become one of the few female leaders in the field.
Driven by her passion for giving back, Taralyn embarked on Career 2.0, focusing on nonprofit leadership. Now, as Vice President and Foundation Director of the Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation, she is committed to empowering youth in the community with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.

When she’s not spearheading impactful initiatives such as this month's collection drive, Clean & Dream Hygiene Drive, you’ll find her unwinding on her pontoon boat at Lake Anne, reliving the exhilaration of finishing an Ironman, or traveling the world.
