Took some photos that are really special to me while testing out my big studio light dome! Feels awesome to know I can bring a studio to your home if outdoor photography would be difficult or less convenient. I use this light to illuninate reception dance floors and my couples during weddings but it works wonders for photos too! If you're feeling cold but still want to get the family together for some photos, I believe I could be of some help.

Hey y'all, to my new followersz just wanted to greet you with some of that good energy that I like to bring to weddings. Call me the dancing filmmaker! Here's a couple shots of me at weddings over the years.

I should probably add a clause to my contract that I should be allowed to dance for at least one song every wedding cause honestly, if the music is on point, I can't help myself. Hoping to bring my filmmaking and dancing skills to a wedding near you soon!

I'm feeling so grateful to be here at surrounded by incredibly talented and passionate filmmakers. This energy and everything I'm learning is making me excited to work on more films and fulfill my duty to my clients to deliver something special and uniquely curated to them. I feel more than ever that my ability to make compelling films has a huge impact on so many people: my couples and their families and everyone who sees my films. What a magical thing.

Ready to keep trying to elevate all my work. It's an exciting time.

Good morning from Austin! I have a good handful of new followers so I felt like it'd be a good time to reintroduce myself.

Carl's my name and I am a visual storyteller. I'm passionate about connecting with my couples to deliver films that are emotionally charged and visually breathtaking all while making the process as stress free as possible. I understand how important your wedding is and how quickly it can pass. I do everything I can to preserve it so you have something you can treasure for the rest of your lives. After day of travel and a quick nap, I remembered I should probably share this little piece on my actual business page 😅

I'm still in awe of this wedding day. It was even greater than I imagined and I'm just so happy I could be there. It's my goal as a filmmaker to preserve as much as I can for my couples in a way that speaks to their love story. and Connor made this easy. It fills me with joy to share just a few of my favorite frames.

Currently in Austin ready for a week of learning, growing and inspiration amongst another group of peers: my wedding filmmaking family. Trying to get better at my craft is important so my first big trip since the beginning of the pandemic is to a special filmmaking workshop.

Looking forward to taking everything I'll learn into the creation of this final film and many others I have coming in the future 💛

In my adoption story, this date will always hold a special place. After being adopted at 10 months old, I returned to the Philippines for the first time. Funny thing is, I got this engraved with the date BEFORE I visited so it became super special. It was a mindblowing and humbling experience getting to meet this woman (swipe) who told me that while there was no orphanage at that location anymore, she was the person who was the head of it 30 years prior. Being 28 at the time, I was able to tell her that if that was the case, she most definitely took care of me when I was a baby. In some ways, her and the sisters were my first mothers.

Sharing this story and these pictures of my home is an important reminder of where I came from and gives me true perspective about the incredible life I get to live, the endless opportunities I have thanks to all the sacrifices my parents have made. Everyone I met on Ilo Ilo kept telling me that my life is a miracle. These days I can't disagree. Things in life are rarely handed to you and I straight up won the lottery. All the more reason I feel inspired and more ambitious than ever to achieve everything I want.

I hope today that you too can connect to your WHY because that will motivate you more than money ever will. Take a moment to practice gratitude for all the things you have... and reach for the stars. @ Iloilo City, Philippines
