We had a great time with everyone at Steampunk November! It’s always a delight, and it was nice to not be quite so frozen this year. Being across from the jail, we got to see the hilarity of so many people tossed into lockup to benefit Dallas Pets Alive. A big congrats to the Sheriff and her crew for the funds raised to help out local pets needing good homes!

Here are some of our beautiful customers from the past two weekends of Texas Renaissance Festival! Now buckle up because I have UPDATES!
First off, I’ve been under the weather this week from severe allergies, so I’m delayed in doing online Pre-Order Corset listings. But I have almost all of our Autumn corset restock in (I’m only waiting on three more corsets y’all), and I’ve updated the website with those corsets! So if you’ve been waiting on Black with Silver Cherry Blossoms in Hourglass, they’re HERE!
Also, every single restocked corset has hip ties! While I still have many corsets without the hip ties, you may get surprise hip ties on a corset you order through the website if it’s one of the newly restocked ones.
Those of you who’ve come by my shoppe at TRF have seen that we have A LOT of corsets on clearance! These have been updated on my site with their sale prices, and of course you have the option of setting up a payment plan with Afterpay during checkout.
Some of y’all have been emailing me about specific skirts and when they’d be available again. They’re available NOW! My sewing team just finished up this batch, and I’ve updated both my website and Etsy shop with these Renaissance Skirts. And all of the restocked Renaissance Skirts have pockets integrated into them! Much like the corsets with hip ties, I still have many skirts that do not have the pockets, so it’s a little surprise to see if your new skirt has the pockets.
This weekend at TRF, it’s our one of our favorite weekends, Pirate Weekend! And the forecast shows that it’s going to be hot. 🥵 Make sure you’re staying hydrated in between those drinks of rum, and go easy on us as we try to survive being baked. (I had such hopes that I was done with heat exhaustion this year.) We’re going to do our best to make it a good weekend!

It was a busy week, so much so that I forgot to make posts! 😅 Ah, well, such is the beginning of the Autumn festival season! So what has been happening, you may ask?
The first batch of Ruffle Skirts with pockets have arrived! I still have several on hand from the original design that did not include pockets, so those will be at my TRF shop and ship for online orders first. But I can tell you that all of the black and burgundy ones DO have pockets!
More of my corset restock for the season arrived, so if there is a size you’ve been waiting to be available on the website again, go check it now! I’ve also marked down many discontinued corset designs both online and at the festival.

October is just a few days away, and I am working through all the last minute things I can as I pack for setting up at Texas Renaissance Festival!
Since much of my inventory is traveling to be four hours from my shipping station, all of my items on Etsy have been updated to have a 5-7 business day processing time before shipping. This is in case the item you order is at my TRF shop, and I have to pick it up on the weekend that I'm there to bring it home to ship it out to you. And yes, this applies to everything on my website as well, but it doesn't list processing times the way that Etsy does.
Anywho, I also have an announcement that you should check out tomorrow! It's something that I'd been working toward this summer, and I am so excited to share the update. ^_^ Look for that video announcement tomorrow afternoon!

A quick glance at my jewelry workbench today. New necklaces are in progress in preparation of the Autumn festival season! I’ve switched out the finishing oil for my wood pendants to one that deepens and intensifies the wood colors more than the previous one I’d used, and I love the new look.

Demonstrating on the Black and Red Satin Corset, I do a step by step guide on how to switch out the lacing starting with no lacing at all.
While I've done video editing in the past, it's been a VERY long time. There are points that my video is a bit choppy with my edits, so my apologies for that. But overall, I'm so excited to finally bring you all this video! I'll be adding a link to the video on my Corset Ribbon page on the website, so it's quick and easy to get to when you need new ribbons--or just want to switch out the colors--for your corset.
As we get closer to October, make sure you're ordering your costuming early! 🎃
Next week, I'll be packing to start setting up at Texas Renaissance Festival for the season. Online orders will have their processing times set to 5-7 days, in case the item you buy is four hours away from my shipping station, and I have to pick it up on the weekend when I'm at the festival to bring home to ship. That shouldn't be most things, but it will definitely happen with a few.
With that, I won't be able to do any "rushes" on those orders! So if you order on a Monday when you need it the coming weekend, it could be the next Monday or Tuesday that I'm able to ship it out, missing your event. This is why ordering early is key for the season! 🖤

Today is my birthday, so I thought I'd share one of my favorite displays we did at TRF last year! (And if you didn't see my b-day f-u-n-d-r-a-i-s-e-r for my local cat crew, check out my other posts!)
Top down, this lovely lass has on a Jolly Roger Pirate Necklace, a Burgundy Short Sleeve Chemise, a Black and Gold Floral Brocade Corset, a Red Linen Pixie Skirt (I'm out at the moment, but more are coming soon), and the Skulls and Roses Black Cotton Petticoat. She also has a hoopskirt underneath to give her the fabulous flare.
I wouldn't normally put burgundy and red together, but it worked out nicely for this pirate lass! The corset puts enough separation between the colors that it all coordinates together well.
Avast me crew! Tis International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and what better day to celebrate these Jolly Roger pirate necklaces! ☠️

This outfit turned heads at Scarborough earlier this year! Our dressform showed off four pieces coordinated together for this look: the Lavender Bubble Sleeve Chemise, the Purple with Black Lace Overlay Corset, the Purple Pintuck Renaissance Skirt, and the Purple Flower Petals Muslin Petticoat. The Renaissance Skirt was tucked up into the waistband of the skirt before adding the corset on top, so the print of the petticoat could pop from underneath!

This afternoon I'm doing some general maintenance on my Singer Touch-n-Sew. Since I use so much fleece, the bottom mechanics get coated with little fuzzies and don't run as smoothly. (She was not sounding happy as I finished up a satin skirt this morning!) Here I've already cleaned and oiled the upper parts, cleaned out the bottom, given a good brush through, and oiled the important bits underneath.
