Story time: last April I participated in an event hosted by . An incredible group of women came together to learn and celebrate and hear from one of my favorites .

I had the honor of making flowers for her room and took inspiration from a project she’d shared earlier that brought her joy. Her crochet project inspired this arrangement and came to capture it.

One creative endeavor sparked another and the joy was shared. Do things because they make you happy. 😊

I was 22 when I left the West and moved to the East Coast. I spent the next 12 years bouncing around, living life and always longing for that deep blue sky that can only be found in the west. While our view has been obscured frequently the past few weeks by smoke - yesterday we enjoyed a late afternoon stroll in this magic place under a deep blue sky. Happy to call the West home again.
