Last time in Canada was in 2019 and so much as happened since then.

My latest mix from Camp SummerDaze this June in Algonquin Park in Canada is now up on Soundcloud

It was all done quite impromptu, but as I had brought my equipment all the way with me from Barbados, I was on "home territory" and things just flowed - the room vibe and people were amazing - I loved the warm welcome and feedback

This mix is a loving hello to my Canadian friends - Missing them all dearly, Some I will see again soon in April for Vujaday in Barbados, and others later this summer in Canada.

It has been a tough 4-5 months since visiting Montreal in August - the creative process necessary to piece this music together was hard to complete, and I had to go through a lot of personal tribulations - completing this mix is bit like saying goodbye, a new hope, new beginnings, and also expressing a melancholy I am only now beginning to shrug off - .....life truly is humbling....

What a fast paced year it has been! Sometimes life just *happens*

The majority of my "music time" lately has been funneled into playing native american flutes, which I am learning a lot from and has been a good connection for me. It opens up new aspects of self awareness and there is a magic in those flutes, in how they become extensions of oneself and ones breath

I have also been working on a couple of mixes (Will post soon) heavily rooted in my summer experiences and events/friends/people in Montreal.
