After 68 races in 12 years, it's time to put the Laramie Mountain Bike Series to bed. It's been great, but it's also gone on long enough. We want to thank everyone who has come out to race over the years, and our partners who have helped make the Series so successful. We also can't say enough great things about our volunteers and, although we have tried, feel like we cannot express enough how much we appreciate their help.

This is not to say that Laramie Racing is closing up shop. While we have no immediate plans for our next event, we will still be around and ready to put on quality races as the inspiration comes to us.

Heads up Racing Nerds! Have you registered for the 2020 Laramie Range Epic VIRTUAL race yet?? A seven day event where you get to ride the 31 or 62 mile course of your choice! Submit your results using a ride tracking ap and you could be the winner in multiple categories... RAD!

You know you're jonesing for the competition - visit laramierangeepic.com today to find your fix!

Welcome to the Laramie Range Epic's 2020 Virtual Race. The 2020 Laramie Range Epic will be a 7 day event starting July 25th and ending July 31st. Riders will be able to choose their own Epic route and ride any day during those 7 days. Rides will then be submitted to our staff, where we will choose winners from multiple categories. Rides can be using any of the apps that track a ride like Strava or Map my Ride. You don't have to ride the specific course that we have designed, but you will need to meet a couple of criteria to race.
1. You will need to match the mileage of the race you signed up for. If you sign up for the one and done, you will need to ride 31 miles consecutively to complete the race. If you sign up for the Epic you will need to ride 62 miles consecutively to complete the race.
2. We would prefer that you ride a mountain bike on some sweet trails. That would be ideal, but since it is a virtual event, you can ride wherever you want. 31/62 miles on a trainer is still pretty impressive, you just need to be able to record it on an app and post it for us to see.
3. Be flexible. This is our first virtual race, we might change how it works and where we will post the final results, but we will keep you informed as we know more.
That’s it. Sign up and get ready to race.
Thanks to today's sponsor for supporting Laramie Racing - Pole Mountain Pharmacy is a top level sponsor. If you're in Laramie and you need a pharmacist , head on over and support these people. They are professional and affordable.

Covid Claims Another Really Fun Thing To Do

It is with heavy hearts and very low VO2 Max levels that we inform everyone that the 2020 Laramie Mountain Bike Series has been cancelled due to the dangers of the Covid-19 virus.
We held out hope and explored all options and scenarios only to realize that there remains too much uncertainty surrounding best public health practices to responsibly conduct such a popular event. The health and safety of our riders, Partners, Crew members and volunteers always comes first.
We love you all and will miss seeing your ugly mugs. Stay safe, ride responsibly, take care of each other and we'll see you on the other side of this.

25/03/2020

LMBS fans:
It was our original intention to open registration in mid March, however, in light of the Covid-19 health crisis we are going to hold off registration for a while. Having no idea what the situation will be in June, we think it's best to delay registration until we know what sort of changes we may need to make to the schedule for this summer. If we do need to change dates or shorten the series, we would like to wait to open registration until we can be more confident about what the schedule will be. We will get the word out as soon as we can. Now, go ride your bike… alone.

😲Dudes, Dudeists, Duderellas, Dudanistas, Dudertarians, Duderinos, Dudercrats, Dudericans!!! This is the final 2019 Race!!😯 Road 34 will be your No. 5 post-race meal host bringing you the tasty vittles from Foco!! Don't forget your campware to help cut down on waste!

Heads Up:
🏆Bring your number plate!
🏆Whether it's your 1st or 5th race, report for race duty under the blue tent! We have to know you're there!
🏆If a kid is racing their very first race they need a special minor waiver signed by their legal guardian. Find it here: http://laramieracing.com/lmbs/registration.php
🏆This special course has a few tricky details including hucking yourself over a buck rail fence!! - pay very close attention to the coursemarkings - you're in charge of you out there!!
🏆If you bought a tshirt tonight's your last chance to claim it at the back of the trailer!!

17/07/2019

🏆Here's some podium shots from last night!🏆 Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy some Haunted Forest soup and Premier Bone and Joint Centers sandwiches!

Glad you could all enjoy the nearly instant results at laramieracing.com - a little post-race housekeeping and they're now in tip top shape!

A note about every Series race: It only takes a small misfortune or two to land you out there alone, in the dark and maybe a little turned around. Most important thing if you find yourself in that situation is to stay on the marked course.

If we know you're out there (i.e., you've checked your number into that night's race) but you've neither crossed the finish line nor reported a DNF, and your empty car or peeps are waiting for you - we're going to come look for you. We can't stress enough the importance of checking your number into every single race and either cross the finish line or report a DNF. If you don't, we may not know you need help. Thanks!

16/07/2019

Rico headed up early to clear some trees on Summit so we can race. Who's going to bring him a thank-you brew tonight? (He like'em hoppy.)

15/07/2019

🦟 Race No.4 Awaits!🦟 Got the 'itch' to race again?? Bring your bug dope and plan on going super fast to out run those mosquitoes! Huge thanks to Premier Bone and Joint Centers for the post-race meal!

Some reminders:
🤘Bring Your Darn Number Plate!
🤘 If this is a minor's first race, they need a waiver signed by a guardian. Find it here: http://laramieracing.com/lmbs/registration.php
