Revisiting a post from 2013…

Heritage Portraits - Here is Steve and Jackie! Married 60+ years! This was Steve's birthday portrait, 91 years young.
Isn't he handsome? Steve and Jackie met after Steve came home from WWll. They went to school and were married at Our Lady of Lourdes here in Omaha and have been here ever since. I so enjoyed my time with them. Jackie is witty and Steve is the strong silent type. Congratulations to you both on 60+years of marriage and 91 years Steve. And a big thank you to you Steve, for your service in the infantry in WWll.
Steve and Jackie’s adult children both live on the east and west coasts. A Heritage Portrait was just one way to honor Steve and Jackie's legacy.

Legacies are cemented in memories.

I’m sad to say we won’t be offering Santa’s for Seniors this year. We will continue our outreach again next year in November of 2025. Thank you to all
of you who have supported this effort in the past. 🎅🤶🎅🤶I would, however, encourage you to drop off socks and lotions/shower gel to any nursing home in the Omaha area.

Drop off day was a success. Thank you to all my volunteers who came through with little notice. Santas4Seniors continues to thrive because of the generous hearts of those who give to those without. Our program started in 2020 during covid, with 144+ volunteers and three nursing homes.
Now…former volunteers contact me each year asking how to help. What an amazing, God breathed, opportunity. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
