At Amarvelous Event, we always take our couples for a reception room reveal during cocktail hour to share the finished beautiful reception space before guests have entered. We capture that moment with their photo/video team, because seeing the space in all its glory, something they’ve thought of so much, can be an emotional part of the day. It’s so fun to see how every single meticuliously thought up detail comes together. Hands down one of our favorite moments of the day.
It’s also a fantastic opportunity for your DJ to play your first dance song so you can run through a choreographed first dance in the space. Photographers and videographers also benefit from this because they can learn the best placement to stand to capture that money shot during your first dance, and they capture additional couple portraits during this time.
