As someone who has had a big wedding, I can tell you firsthand that planning a big wedding can be stressful. In my situation, the stress didn’t stop on the wedding day, either.⁠

Having a big wedding can involve months of planning and decision making, and not everyone can afford an expensive wedding planner to help out with the process.⁠

Not to mention smoke bombs, who knows what those are made out of. ⁠
And don’t even get me started about laying down in fields of naturally growing flowers. ⁠

Look, I want to (and will!) create some incredible photos for you, but I won’t do it at the cost of the environment. ⁠

There are so many ways to create epic images and have a WOW moment without harming the environment. Like popping champagne, just remember to grab the cork! Or bringing pretty lanterns instead of lighting sparklers to light up your blue hour photos.⁠

This elopement was full of love and adventure.⁠

We began with a serene sunrise coffee at DutchBros to fuel the day. The getting ready process was a heartwarming family affair, setting the stage for the day's celebrations.⁠
⁠
After a breathtaking first look on the cliffs, we took a hike through The Redwoods for the ceremony. The towering trees witnessed the exchange of vows in a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by loved ones.⁠

As the day transitioned to evening, the couple found themselves on the beach, cozied up by a warm fire. Blankets, sweats, and sneakers were the perfect cozy addition to the beachside fire!⁠

Elope on a weekday! This may seem counterintuitive, but here’s why:

⚡️Hiking trails and points of interest tend to be less crowded during the week

⚡️Tours and services might be cheaper and have more flexibility since they are in less demand than on the weekend

⚡️Hotels and House rentals tend to be cheaper and have more availability on weekdays
