Our Story

Our franchise became a thought when John was out in San Diego as a volleyball official for a nationals tournament. There was a Kona Ice truck at the college he was working at and he decided to give them a try. He loved it so much that he decided to talk to that Franchise owner about the business who really inspired him further. He went back to Arizona which is where he was located at the time and decided to look into it further and within weeks he pulled the trigger and started the process. He was working as a marketing director and recruiter for a medium sized company and just decided that it was time to enjoy life more with a fun rewarding business. Initially he was looking to open his franchise in the Phoenix area but there just wasn’t enough growth opportunity there for him so he decided that Las Vegas would be the place for him to start up. So we packed our bags, sold our AZ house and moved to Las Vegas to start this new venture. John also keeps very active with the military as he still serves as a reservist in the US Air Force in a combat search and rescue unit. He also still keeps active in the schools officiating volleyball at the high school and college level. And if that isn’t enough, during the winter time when business is at a stand still because of the colder weather he now deals poker in the casinos.

We have learned quite a bit in our first year of business now and we have loved every minute of it. It is so rewarding to put the smiles on peoples faces when you serve them up a tasty cold treat. We're the coolest shaved ice truck in town and we bring the party to you! So reach out to us anytime to learn more or to schedule us for an event or fundraiser.
