One of New Orlean’s wedding traditions is a cheerful parade that celebrates the start of the new life of the bride and groom together. A “first line” is made up the band, the newlyweds, and their bridal party. Sounds of brass and drums fill the air as guests (and sometimes strangers) follow along and form the “second line”. Together, everyone parades and dances from the ceremony to reception to keep the party going!
