I finally got my Litonjua which I am just ecstatic. This is done from Arthur Litonjua's notstalgic characters colletion revisiting "our" love for larger than life heroes we grew up with.

The use of bold, primary colors—red, blue, and yellow—imbues the mixed medium (pencil, pastel, watercolour) piece with a sense of dynamism. The splatter paint effect adds movement, kinetic energy and life., as if Superman is bursting forth from the page. The choice of colors aligns with Superman’s iconic costume evident in the bursting insignia which we all know "is not an S", reinforcing his identity.

The obscured face invites intrigue. While it departs from traditional superhero portraiture, the sharp edgy facial feature is a signature Lintonjua style which adds an enigmatic quality in all his works.

The deep soulful eyes departs from the hero's bright and positive demeanor which makes this work all the more intriguing and alluring.
