In Cuba, an opera singer builds an empire

On my last visit to Cuba I stopped in to see our first artist we represented in Cuba back in 1999 - Ulises Aquino Cuba's first Tenor voice of the Opera. Ulises also served as voice professor for many of our artist over the years. Ulises now operates "Street Opera" - La Opera de la Calle. He once said he was frustrated that so many talented singers and performers did not have the opportunity to participate in the theater and develop their talents - due to there are not enough companies and shows in Cuba. About four years ago I caught up with Ulises who was planning and developing La Opera de la Calle. Now in full operation for some time he has created this spectacular show and a demonstration of talent and entertainment. It proves that no matter the conditions, the challenges and the limitation you can create and make your dreams come true. A true testament to loving what you do and doing it from the heart - always results in great things. Let us take you to Cuba and see for yourself - La Opera de la Calle a musical experience.
