Stephanie & Dan were married on the gorgeous Leelanau Peninsula, in a place near and dear to their hearts. Their special day was full of family, laughter, and beautiful Northern Michigan sunshine. Sunshine on the water, dancing through the trees, and finally melting over fields of cosmos as it set over this sweet couple's day.

I'm so obsessed with how this sweet couple's engagement session turned out! Danielle & Cody were so much fun to hang out with and get to know. These cuties met dancing in Traverse City and Cody was more than happy to show off their dance moves during their engagement session. Take a look through their photos to see that epic dip! Catie & Jack were married at Bay Harbor on a gorgeous rainy afternoon. Going into this weekend, the forecast didn't look great but this sweet couple took it all in stride and decided to enjoy every second of their day, rain or no rain.

They had the most gorgeous wedding ceremony on the lake overlooking the foggy water. Everyone walked down the aisle with umbrellas, and Catie and Jack laughed through the downpour. The best part was that the rain cleared up as Catie walked down the aisle and then held off for the rest of their ceremony.

Even though the weather didn't fully cooperate, Catie and Jack absolutely radiated joy through every part of their day. They were so happy to be getting married and to be celebrating with all of their family and friends that nothing could put a damper on their special day. I'm so honored to have been a part of such a special wedding day.

I'm still pinching myself to make sure that Lauren and Peter's spring wedding at Starry Night Barn and Studios was reality. Between Lauren's ideas and Stacy's planning, no detail was forgotten and every moment of this day unfolded like something out of a dream.

But beyond the exquisite details, the dreamy venue, and the perfect spring day, the best part of this day was the sweet, sweet couple and all of their family and friends who love and adore them.

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is when the ceremony is done and everyone settles into the reception and we get to hear from the family and friends who love my couple the most. I love hearing the heartfelt stories and watching tears fall from the outpouring of love and emotion surrounding the bride and groom as they get to see and hear how much they are cherished.

It was abundantly clear from Lauren and Peter's wedding that they are sweet, genuine, humans who love hard and pour kindness and authenticity into their friendships and family and it's very much returned! That was what made this day the most magical! I'm so honored and blessed to be the keeper of those stories and to get to document days this special.

Some of my absolute favorite wedding days are the days that brim with all the emotions. Jennifer and Christopher’s wedding day was absolutely one of those days.

The weather may have not fully cooperated, and we may have all had to sprint indoors and relocate right when the ceremony was about to begin, but no amount of rain could overshadow the sheer and utter joy and happiness this sweet couple was surrounded by on their wedding day.

They are so, so very loved by all their friends and family. And in love. The love and absolute devotion these two sweethearts have for each other was so beautiful to witness and be a part of. What a perfect way to kick off my 2024 wedding season.

I had so much fun with these sweethearts and their fur babies at their engagement session! We'd already lost most of the color from the leaves, but we still managed to get a little bit of that fall feel.

Kyleigh and John were also more than willing to lay in the (very cold) sand so that I could play with my drone. Hopefully worth it, because I'm obsessed with the shots that we got! I'm so excited for their wedding next year at Hotel Walloon.

Can I officially request that all of my sessions/weddings now include golden retrievers with flower collars? 😍

Lisa & Cameron eloped on the West Coast earlier this year but also wanted to celebrate in Michigan with family (and with their goodest boy, Oliver!)

We met up at Tandem Ciders to take advantage of all the gorgeous fall colors before heading to Fishtown and the beach, and I'm so obsessed with how all of their photos turned out! I did warn them that they would have a ridiculous number of Oliver photos 😆 but can you blame me!? Look at that sweet face! ❤️

I got to hang out with these sweet brides on Sunday and take their engagement photos. I was a little nervous heading into October that we'd be too late for colors because all the forecasts were saying peak colors were coming early this year, but clearly that didn't happen! ⁠

We chose to head over to M22 to hunt for the best fall colors, and gosh did that pay off! I'm so excited to shoot Nina & Amber's wedding next year Castle Farms!

I've been so excited for Lindsey & Austin's wedding this year!!

This sweet couple is the 3rd in a group of couples I've been honored to document all the way back to 2018. It started with Laura & Zack (who just celebrated their 5-year anniversary), then came Rachael & Jon (who just celebrated 2 years), and Saturday was Lindsey & Austin ❤️

It was a mini-reunion, and it just made the day extra special! I love these sweet families and I'm so honored to document such special moments!

Leading up to this sweet wedding day, it looked like it was going to pour all day long. I watched the forecast all week making a game plan to make the best of the day no matter what the weather decided to do. Instead, we got the most gorgeous, moody fall day! The rain broke right as Autumn and I made it to the venue and stayed away until right as we were leaving for the night (we special ordered the weather just these sweethearts! 😆).

We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better outcome though, and I'm so excited to share all the sweet moments from this day!

I knew the second that Lauren’s dad snuck up to me during the day to clue me in on a surprise he had for her that it was probably going to be one of the sweetest moments I’d ever had the privilege of documenting on a wedding day 🥹

He decided to surprise her with a song that he wrote/learned how to play on the piano before their father/daughter dance. I’ve got an official sneak peek coming from this gorgeous wedding later, but gosh I couldn’t not share some of this sweet, sweet moment ❤️ these are the things you’ll be so glad to have 50-60 years from now! 😭

Last night I got to watch one of my dearest friends marry her love in the sweetest, intimate wedding ceremony at her parents' home. There wasn't a dry eye to be found, and the love and joy and cherishment for these two beautiful human souls was absolutely palpable.

Could I be more obsessed with how Amanda & Ryan's day turned out? I really don't think that I could! 😍 Absolutely everything about their gorgeous wedding day was perfect!

Even though the day started out overcast, the weather was perfect and the clouds just added to the castle's ambiance. From their sweet first look to the amazing party on the dance floor, I loved getting to experience this day with Amanda and Ryan and all of their friends and family. Shout out to their officiant and their DJ for absolutely killing it and bringing all 🔥🔥🔥 and fun to both their ceremony and their reception (make sure you look through the pictures to spot the box of Kraft mac and cheese 😆).

Whelp, it’s official. The big 3️⃣0️⃣ 🎉

I definitely pulled like 6 silver hairs off my head this morning, but we’re not talking about that 😆 celebrated last weekend in South Bend at a masquerade ball with , definitely a great way to say goodbye to my 20’s. Now I just have to update my website to say 30’s instead of 20 something.

Shameless client appreciation post. I love, love, love what I do so much! My job lets me do so many fun things, but what I love most is the amazing people that I meet and the sweet, wonderful humans that I get to love and serve while I capture their wedding day memories.

I’ve spent 30+ hours in the last 72 with these two gems. Am I exhausted (ha, you bet 😴) but so👏🏻dang👏🏻worth👏🏻it!

I loved seeing M & Q absolutely surround by and inundated with love from their family and friends this entire weekend, and am so honored and humbled they all welcomed me in and made me feel like family while I was there to capture it all. I can’t wait to share all the gorgeous video from this weekend.

It’s going to be EPIC 🎉❤️

This sweet couple had the most amazing wedding weekend here in Northern Michigan! Juliana and Ayon are two of the most genuine, kind humans that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and are both the kind of people that you instantly want to just sit and talk to for hours. They radiate grace and authenticity and it was such a pleasure to spend the weekend with them and their family and friends.
