Two bits of amazing news. The Beat have just confirmed an EIGHTY MINUTE SET!!! Not only this, but Leeds City Council have decided to give us £750 towards arts at the upcoming show as part of their Leeds Inspired scheme. Happy days!

Umbrella Visuals Calling 2011

We decided to vary the installation we delivered last year by creating spiked drops on each lantern of the central Chandelier and by creating the hanging 'buns' either side, which were hand-made inflatables lit with UV from the inside.

so we're taking a much needed break from decor stuff for the rest of August... but will commence back with designing 'The Lady Gaga' hanging piece for Raisetheroof Festival !!

The disco spider! This piece was designed and created by Laleh Yeganegy and installed by Tony Searle. These inflatables are great for festival events because they pack small and are light and easy to rig up while making a big impact! We still have this item in stock for dry hire: email us if you have an event in need of an eyecatching decoration, this would be great as a centrepiece for an indoor clubnight.

We were employed by Blissfields 2011 to install decor across the site, which included two commissioned pieces especially built for their main stage. With a simple but high impact design by Laleh Yeganegy, coupled with bold UV paints, these pieces added a bit of a quirk to this compact stage. As commissioned pieces they are now the property of Blissfields and we hope to see them in use in the future. After decorating Blissfields two years in a row they have proven a great team to work with.

The Angel had become an iconic entrance piece for Glastonbury festival, connecting up the Green Fields and the Stone Circle area, but in 2011 they decided they wanted to snazz her up a bit. Umbrella Visuals were employed to create the pink butterfly halo hovering above her head. Created out of a multitude of small, handmade individual butterflies, the piece brought height and a splash of colour to this beautiful installation.
