*Pro tip: Many of the palaces and Korean folk villages have free entry if you are wearing a hanbok.

This photo session was COLD and the wind was blowing fiercely. We were ready to pack it up and go but I wanted to get one last set of shots.

As she battled keeping control of her hair, I kept snapping away - and got this photo. It's one of my favorite from the entire session.

A little TBT!

I'd just gone to the Annie Leibovitz exhibit and wanted to try my hand at lifestyle photography (where you live life and the photographer snaps away). It's become one of my more favorite types of photos to take -and- to have taken of my own family.

After going to the Annie Leibovitz exhibit in Seoul I was inspired to try more lifestyle photography. Luckily for me, that day I was also going to hang out with these two kids! They were fantastic and let me photograph them as they enjoyed the day!

I was hoping to have the wedding teaser video up this week but I wasn't able to get it done. :-( But I was able to finish editing a few snapshots! Soyoung was a beautiful bride - regal and elegant as a princess (with a gorgeous tiara to match!). Congratulations to a lovely lady!

When my Nikon Z6 arrived, I wanted to get some practice with it. Sweet Amelia let me follow her around the magical pink grass and snap away. The result was just enchanting!

PANIC! My USB to USB-C adapter is dead and I can't access the photos and video on my external harddrive.

(breathe!)

Gonna hit up the PX later today and see if they have one. I don't always miss being back home, but right now it sure would be nice to be able to run up to Walmart and get what I needed.

I was asked to take photos of the beautiful Mortara family as my first official shoot back from my photography intermission. We got to the park just as the sun was beginning to move over the trees, turning the golden-pink muhly grass into a richer purple-pink color. Amazing!

After a big hiatus, I think it’s time to seriously get behind the camera.

Spent this morning scouting a location for potential photos. This is a nearby place that also has a bit of the pink muhly grass - I couldn’t help but take a selfie!
