This little guy, no bigger than my finger nail, was on my truck. It seemed to be looking at me as I looked at it, even rising up on its back legs. I took several photos. Then, he jumped on me. He jumped like ten inches. I don't know what he was trying to accomplish, but it seemed a little crazy to me. Can you imagine the human equivalent to such a risk?

Cupid Grazing in the Rain -- It's evening. I gave her wormer earlier in the day. She's watching me closely as she pauses from grazing. I have no doubt that the rain is not entering her thoughts. She is wondering if I am going to feed her, or do I have medicine in my hand, or should she just go back to grazing. Her decision took just a few seconds. Back to the grass.

We are four weeks and one day from the 11th Annual Backyard Bull Bash. Postponing it obviously was the right call, and we're definitely thankful for the rain, but it was a let down. With an extra month to get ready, we are ramping it up and betting that it's going to be a great year for the Ronald McDonald House.
