Coming to realize that I enjoy long sets. 1 hour is seriously just a warm up and see what I can get away with or what direction I would like to take the crowd in.
I play everything. Popular or unpopular. For the crowd. Admittedly, I might not read every person in the room but I try to reach every one of them at least once in a night.
The attention I receive with people coming up to me and saying they like what they hear is humbling. And most all of you that know me, I get weird with compliments.
All in all, I enjoy playing at Hohm Brooklyn especially bc he books me to play. Never has to come up to me and ask me to change things up or amything, so I know he trusts me when I’m up there playing away for hours at a time. And when the lights come on, I actually get sad bc I want to keep going and push myself to find my limits (153+ BPM techno is my current limit).
I want to venture out to different crowds and people again, but this time for much longer than 1 hour…
