Can’t tell you how much I want to bottle up the weekend and the working relationship we had with Matt & John in July. These two incredibly kind and compassionate human beings came to me in January after just booking and said they were in some serious need of help with a short planning cycle and not being sure where to start. From our first call our connection was easy and flowing and it never stopped from there. I felt so touched by the amount of trust they put in me to help them host a very special wedding, 18 years in the making. With their trust I planned and guided them through the whole process of planning their wedding at the venue and Welcome Party at their home, with an extra sprinkle of executing their floral design as well. I always love when I can tie in a personal passion with professional needs and had so much fun with the creative freedom they gave me as I lead them through the event design aspect of our plan. But all of this professional highlight reel came a far second to the emotions of the weekend. You couldn’t find a group of guests who cherished their newlyweds more. At the end of the ceremony, the couple recessed and then stopped and looked back at a standing ovation and then came the wave of emotions. To be celebrated and supported so purely. Something that is so often hard to come by, especially in today’s day and age. I could only imagine how it felt for these two men standing there in their embrace. It was a privilege to help create the setting but more so to just be a in the orbit of their love.
John & Matt you two will be missed sorely from my current client list. But consider my heart permanently stamped! I look forward to drinking your own cider one day 💛

I couldn’t have enjoyed working with Paige more. Just 4 months ahead of me in the journey of motherhood, I swear half of our calls would wind up being us just talking + supporting each other in the throes of whatever new challenge our little ladies were throwing at us. Such an incredibly beautiful and special woman who is so openly gracious and loving. Even in the short year or so we worked together it became so clear to me that Paige is someone who lets you know that you’re important to her and loved. On a soggy December day in two very kind, loving people cozied up with 36 of their nearest and dearest at the stunning hotel. There was a very touching ceremony, the first time I’d heard of this beautiful tradition, followed by the most decadent long table dinner you’ve ever seen! (That post to come certainly!). The magic that is Zöe! One of the most beautiful brides who somehow mastered being wonderfully detail oriented and yet delightfully so chill at the same time. Our intimate cool girl with a magic energy that was palpable. captured her and Danny’s love and beauty so perfectly!
You put your right foot in.. you take your right foot out… oh, wait, wrong account 🤪 Please don’t confuse my lack of posting on here for anything other than that I’m just busy doing my mom thing and working on our clients’ weddings. I used to pay so much attention to my account and growing it and how often I posted but when things are really busy in season or when my attention is called elsewhere (ie. Poppy Rae) this just falls to the wayside. I’m sure I’ll start popping back up here more often as our events start this coming month though, promise you’ll miss me in the interim! 😘 Off to perfect a timeline or concoct some new way to sneak vegetables into my 18 month old!

One of the most perfect summer evenings with a couple that is so deeply connected. I got to work with Adam and Grace over two years (thanks Covid!) and finally in late August ‘22 we got to put of the wedding of their dreams in West Hampton. captured some of the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen of a couple, so perfectly emotional and sentimental. Ended the year in the dreamiest way with + at the timeless Blue Hill at Stone Barns with such a fantastic vendor team and Mother Nature herself even showed up and showed out with the most gorgeous and delightfully mild December day. Couldn’t ask for a better day all around and so grateful to finish this wonderful year and season on such a high note!

There are still a handful of weddings last year that I never got around to posting about. Between how wicked busy last season was for all vendors and being pregnant on top of it, I really put social media to the side and focused on what was happening IRL. But that’s not to say anything about these couples or events… In fact, some of my favorites events I’ve executed and client relationships I’ve had I still have yet to share!
So! Let’s pick it up back with two amazing humans. Sally + Will are just terrific people, honestly and genuinely. They’re real, direct, and have fantastic humor so our planning cycle was nothing less. We had the most gorgeous sunny Fairfield, CT May day in mind and naturally Mother Nature decided not to cooperate. Without skipping a beat our reluctant rain plan went into action and we marched on. Speckled with umbrellas, our lawn garden party was a little soggier than expected but my god, nothing couple damper this party. Topped with the most thoughtful FoB speech, it was just a dream of a night. And these 2 deserved nothing less!
