Spider-Man/superpower birthday for my nephews 4th Birthday. Cake was red/blue swirled vanilla cake with strawberry filling and almond frosting. Cupcakes matched the cake and then carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.

What do you do when your cake falls apart on delivery? Stay up all night redoing it so birthdays can be magical. 🦄

This cake kicked my butt. Had to redo it 5 times, the fondant was to hard, to sticky, dry, cracking, falling apart. Then I forgot to put dowels in and it started falling over so I had to redo it again and again and again. After a very long night into early morning I am pleased with the outcome. (I might be overextending myself just a little.) Just shows that hard work and dedication, (a few tears along the way) pay off. I hope they love this cake as much as I do.

Candy bar cakes. Reece's peanut butter cup (chocolate cake, smooth creamy PB frosting. Reece's chunks in the middle, chocolate ganache on top with candy pieces) and Twix cake. (Chocolate cake, caramel frosting, chunks of Twix in the middle. Topped with a Carmel sauce and chocolate drizzle. Twix pieces on top).
