Introducing: Lauren Adams, Kitchen Witch | Owner of Thyme & Thyme Again

So, who is this culinary enchantress?

Adams, who was born and raised around southern kitchens, learned from her grandmas and as she puts it “the whisper of ancestors who planted the passion in her soul for the tending to her own hearth and home.”

Always trying new recipes, Lauren continues to discover new tastes and cultures. While looking at the magical properties of foods and herbs she chooses, her intention is to use seasonal foods to celebrate with gratitude for what is provided during the turning of the year.

In her own words: “I love feeding people, it’s my truest love language. After over a decade in the hair industry, I’ve begun to blend that creativity and care in a new avenue…the nourishment of others. And now, I get to combine my skills and my soul to bring me joy and bring you food from my heart."

We can’t wait to sink our teeth in and savor the flavors she is bringing to the table… here at Wonderland.

Introducing Kacie Berthelot, Photographer | Owner of Bare Roots Photography

Michigan based photographer, Kacie Berthelot, brings a special touch to bo***ir experiences.

Berthelot, has worked hard to brand her business authentically. Bare Roots Photogrpahy was created from a place of vulnerability, need, passion, and authenticity. The company was birthed into being as a way for the photographer to connect more with nature and help ease her own anxiety. She has been rediscovering and redefining who she is ever since, what that means in her work, and also what that looks like with clients within her photography sessions. Always aiming to make her clients feel comfortable enough to be their authentic, and vulnerably beautiful selves.

Also a licensed trauma therapist, Kacie specializes in not only navigating through rough terrain, she specializes in building healthy relationships; a skill set she infuses into her photography sessions to create grounded and safe experiences with empathy and understanding. Meeting client’s where they’re at.

Her niches include a love for adventure photography, nature, pets, bo***ir and empowerment as she has a special place in her heart for women, and drawing out the beauty of the feminine.

In her words: “From that spark you may feel is buried dark and deep, to that hot, roaring flame of a Goddess you may have forgotten ever existed - I'm here to tell you, it's time to reignite that fire inside of you like never before and I want to help you do it!”

So, what exactly is Beltane?

Beltane, an ancient Gaelic holiday observed on May 1st, is a vibrant celebration that bridges the gap between spring's awakening and the full bloom of summer. Its name, derived from the Old Irish words "Bel" and "teine," evokes the essence of the festival: the bright fires that illuminate the night. These bonfires symbolize the sun's ascending strength and serve as focal points for communities to gather, dance, and revel in the season's vitality. Adorned maypoles, intricately woven with ribbons and flowers, stand as testaments to fertility and growth. Amidst the laughter and music, it's believed that the veil between our world and the mystical Otherworld grows thin, allowing for a profound spiritual connection and the blessings of prosperity.
