We recently found out that Tom Butler, a staunch floral industry advocate, recently passed away. Tom was one of the most loved people in the industry having worked at FTD, Syndicate Sales, AFS & and most recently Teleflora. Tom devoted over 40 years to an industry that he truly loved and appreciated. Tom was a true professional in every sense of the word. While Tom is gone, he leaves behind a legacy.

Prayers and warm thoughts to his wife Becky and the friends and family of Tom Butler. Rest in peace, Tom Butler.

Shortly before Tom' s untimely passing, the American Floral Endowment announced at their annual dinner at the SAF convention the formation of the Tom Butler Family Fund. Tom established the Tom Butler Family Fund with a contribution of $50,000 in July to provide funds to support AFE's research and grant efforts.

Tom was a longtime devoted advocate for the Endowment, beginning his service as a trustee in 2006. He served as development chairman from 2008-2014, as chairman from 2010-2012 and was recently appointed as an emeritus trustee.

Our best seller of the recent Mother's Day holiday was the timeless favorite the Polka Dots and Posies Bouquet. This bouquet pairs white daisies with hot pink roses in a light pink glass cube vase. We sold so many that we ran our of pink spray roses and had to start using pink daisies and white roses.
