En Tu Abrazo Encuentro Milonguero is a gathering of like-minded dancers with a shared passions for milonguero connections while dancing to traditional tango music.

Four days of Tango Milonguero with seven milongas

With an amicable ambiance that is gender balanced, providing separate seating for men, woman & couples who use Mirada & Cabaceo to invite others to dance.

Where we follow traditional Codes of Conduct including making and accepting invitations to dance from our seat and always respecting those already dancing.

Over 30 hours of dancing with time to enjoy the Pheasant Run Resort (golf, spa, pool, etc.)

We welcome registration by couples and singles, and pre-registration and confirmation is mandatory. "First come, first served" will not be a priority in the selection process.

As concert-level musician, and professional tango dancer and teacher, Grisha strives to share his knowledge of the “secrets’ of music taken from music scores and music performance with dancers in addition to sharing the dancing experience with musicians. For years, Grisha was teaching and performing with Daniela Arcuri, renowned tango dancer and teacher from Buenos Aires, with worldwide tango experience. He maintains an active touring schedule offering group and private dance classes, performing as a soloist and as a chamber musician, and giving his unique Concert-Lecture about the "Structure of Tango Music. In 2007, he wrote the essay about the Baroque influence in Tango music, Polyphony and Counterpoint, and haw to translate Polyphony into movement and dance technique. Some paragraphs from this essay were published and teachers, dancers and musicians use them as a Reference. Since than he travels a lot, mostly in North America and Europe, teaching and shearing this original unique material with tango teachers and dancers, giving musicality classes, concerts and lectures as well as technical classes. His primary tango teachers for many years were Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa.

Encuentro Milonguero Chicago with Susana Miller

Susana Miller returns tomorrow, Thursday, June 4th and will be in Chicago until June 11th. Join us and our guests for an Encuentro Milonguero weekend with Susana Miller.

Susana will do two days of tango bootcamps on Saturday, June 6th and on Sunday, June 7th . These bootcamps will focus on taking the dance you presently have to another level. You can sign up with a partner or as an individual if you take the both bootcamps or purchase a single day bootcamp. We will attempt to gender balance the enrollment. We have limited space available and advance registration required. The bootcamps are at ATI, 325 N. Hoyne, Suite C-404, Chicago.

Susana Miller has a limited number of private lessons during her stay.

We will also have a special Encuentro Milonguero Milonga on Saturday evening, June 6th at the Latvian Center, 2nd Floor. We will use codigos from the milongas of Buenos Aires. 2015 Chicago Mini Tango Festival

Thanks to all that attended our Welcome Milonga last night. We had a wonderful with DJ Vivi LaFalce from Buenos Aires keeping the floor rocking. Tonight's Grand Milonga will be DJ by Luis Alberto Rojas from Buenos Aires. It goes from 9:30pm to 1:30pm, followed by an all night milong DJ'ed by Luis Alberto Rojas (Buenos Aires).
