Nicole & Gary 😍

This couple's love story is proof that even the simplest moments - like a hilariously bare Christmas tree - can spark something extraordinary. 🌲

It all began in December 2020 when they swiped right!

After some lively chats, Gary shared a picture of his Christmas tree - a tree so undecorated Nicole couldn't help but offer to "rescue " it! Armed with a box of decorations, she transformed that sad tree into something festive, marking the start of their beautiful journey. 🎄 (P.S. A parking fine and a Domino's pizza also played key roles! 🍕

From that first laugh-filled meeting, they hit it off. Nicole thought Gary looked cute in his Christmas jumper, while Gary was struck by Nicole's selflessness and kindness. From awkward first family dinners (hello, ordering food you "hate" by accident! 🤣 ) to spontaneous meet the parents' moments, Gary and Nicole's bond just grew stronger with each shared experience. 😀

Their love story has taken them from pandemic getaways to their first home in Elgin and, most importantly, to welcoming their daughter Blakely, in 2022 - a true joy and their greatest achievement. ❤️

💍 The engagement: In April 2022, outside the breathtaking Edinburgh Castle, with the castle lights glowing and a good dose of nerves running ghrough his body, Gary got down on one knee asked Nicole, "the big question" Nicole completely surprised but absolutely certain said "YES." 🌟

Fast forward to their wedding day, and this couple have woven their story into every detail - from the tartans of their families used in their handfasting to sealing their vows by drinking from the quiche.✨
Their love is authentic, their bond unshakable, their journey inspiring. 💕

Amy & Sean. 💕
Every great love story has a beginning, and theirs started during the first lockdown with a swipe to the right!

Amy asked all prospective suitors to provide her with an interesting fact. Sean's quirky fact - "Did you know frogs use their eyes to swallow?" - instantly stood out, sparking hours of conversation until they could meet in person. 😃

Their first date? A magical stroll through Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh, where laughter flowed and a natural effortless connection blossomed. 🌹🌹

Amy knew from the moment she saw Sean at Haymarket Station that she was going to marry him...her gut feeling never lets her down!
Despite a nervous "pinky finger hold," sparks flew, and Sean, struck by Amy's radiant smile, thought to himself, "Don't mess this up!" Spoiler: HE didn't! 😍

Fast forward to shared adventures around Scotland, hunting for quirky stories in Glasgow's Necropolis and building a lush indoor jungle in their cosy flat. 🪴 🌿 🪴
From whisky tasting to unconditional support during Amy's journey to becoming an Art & Design teacher, they have built a life full of love and laughter.😃

At Bogbain Farm, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Amy and Sean celebrated the next chapter of their love story. 🌟 💖 🌟
With heartfelt vows and a symbolic handfasting using Quinn tartan representing Sean's heritage, they tied the knot - literally and figuratively - united as partners, best friends, and soul mates. 🥂 ❤️ 🥂

Stuart proposed, Indie said yes - simple right? But we all know there is always a back story! 😍

These two marvellous individuals first crossed paths in 2011, working at the St Ola Hotel in Orkney.
Stuart quickly realised he had feelings for Indie, but she had no idea...until a little twist of fate and a twinge of jealousy led Stuart to boldly claim, "I'll take you out for tea!" ☕️ 🫖
Their first date at The Lynfield may have been a bit 'fancier' than Indie expected - cue Stuart joking, "I should have taken you to the chippy!" 🍟 🤣 - But that date marked the beginning of something very special. ❤️
From Inverness getaways to unforgettable concerts including AC/DC 🎸 Indie and Stuart built a life full of music, laughter, and adventure. By 2017, they had their first home, and soon, their family grew with the arrivals of Signey, Marcus, and their four-legged baby, Maney. 🐕 🐾 🐾

When Stuart proposed it was perfect - Christmas Eve - a beautiful tree with the kids playing around it, and Stuart holding out a gorgeous engagement ring.💍 Indie was completely surprised, but she didn't need to think twice about her answer it was a resounding YES! ✨️

At Clava Mains Stuart and Indie celebrated their love story and boy, are they looking forward to all the adventures that are yet to come their way! 💖 🍾 🥂

Tamara & Paul tied the knot and became Mr & Mrs Reid. 💘

💫 It all started in 2015 at work, Paul was a hilarious "chancer," with the ability to make everyone laugh, and Tamara loved it. And Paul, well, he thought Tamara was WAY out of his league - and yes, she could make him blush on sight! 🤣

Fast forward a year, and Paul finally asked her out. First date? Dinner at the Rajah followed by a "friendly" bowling competition - except Paul's love for winning never took a break, this was a game to be won... first date or not! 😁 🎳

Over time, they packed in the memories from meeting each others families to sharing their first holiday abroad together to Portugal. Now that holiday, let's just say cocktails + hot sun + "creative" sun sreen application = Paul's body sunburnt apart from the areas covered in sunscreen which just happened to be Tamara hand shaped! 😃 ☀️ 😃

Two years ago, they moved in together, joining an "IV3" country girl and an "IV2" guy under one roof - with of course a certain Black Lab named Dougie, who clearly wasn't giving up his spot in Tamara's heart! 🐾

Then came the proposal... Paul planned a dreamy picnic at Dores Beach, with a hidden photographer 📸 (shout out to Birnie in the gorse bushes!) capturing the moment. When Paul popped the question - Tamara said a massive, happy, and emotional"YES!" 💍

During their wedding ceremony, they exchanged vows over a handfasting using lengths of MacDougall tartan for Tamara's heritage and Dress Gordon tartan for Paul's - symbolising the joining of their families. 💕

Dachshunds were by far the most popular dog guests at weddings I’ve performed this year, from ring bearers to little icing figurines on cakes, they are such brilliant wee dogs to have included in your big day💒Here are my three on the beach, lots of running around mad, barking and digging holes by Matilda, Frida & Sophia. ❤️
It does the heart so much good to know three wee rescue Dachshunds get so much fun from something as simple as a walk along a beach. 🤗

Katie & Kevin married at Achnagairn Castle. 😍

Throwback to 2013: picture this a confident Katie, who wasn't shy about her feelings, walking up to Kevin at a club to tell him, "I fancy you!" Bold and charming, that's Katie. 🌟 And Kevin? He must have been impressed because soon after, they had their first date - a cosy cinema trip, followed by a sunset chat at Elgin Golf Course! 🤩

Katie at first thought Kevin was "posh" - later learning all about his love of ironing!
Kevin had to put it simply thought Katie was "fit!" which naturally, he was into. From that first meeting, they well and truly clicked for them it was effortless, sharing laughs and deep talks with ease. 💖

Their journey took a romantic turn in 2015, and they officially became a couple. A year in, they set off on a working holiday in New Zealand. 😃
They explored both islands and celebrated New Year's Eve in Samoa - the first country to ring it in - and they had an unforgettable adventure in Vietnam before heading back to the UK.

Together, Katie & Kevin have built careers and created a beautiful home, which they share with their beloved cat Simba.🐈 🐾 Through it all, they've cheered each other on, turning dreams into reality.

Kevin and Katie are two hearts who embrace their life together, one adventure at a time. 💍 🥂 ❤️

Megan & Rhys - what a couple they are! ❤️

🌟 Childhood neighbours. High school acquaintances. And finally, that unforgettable moment in Farmfoods carpark! Megan and Rhys's love story took years to build but was worth every twist and turn. 🌟

From shared shifts at The Ship Inn (when Megan thought Rhys might just be too charming!) to road trips, cosy flats, and laughter-filled holidays - they've been each other's adventure partners and confidants. 💖

In 2019, their friendship grew into something undeniable, a bond sealed with a Christmas Eve kiss under the stars. Soon, they were inseparable: singing on their road trips, sharing mischief with friends, and dreaming of a future together.

Thailand set the scene for Rhys's proposal. He had the best table at the pierside restaurant organised, and there was a beautiful sunset - perfect!
Rhys dropped to kne knee and asked Megan to marry him. Megan's "no, no, no..." very quickly turned into "YES!" and the entire restaurant then erupted in cheers. 🥂 💍

Now they have built a beautiful home and a life of love, adventure, and, of course, puppy cuddles with their chocolate lab Teddy. Together, Megan and Rhys have made something truly special. 😍

🌟 Janna and Angus's love story began on a random Tuesday in July 2016, starting with a woodland walk, skimming stones by Loch Ness , and ending with a burger their 'thing' ever since! 😁

From exploring Paris and hiking a volcano in Tenerife to surviving a rainy Skye staycation, all their adventures brought them closer and closer. ❤️

Angus, with their friend Scarlett's help, had the perfect engagement ring designed. On their 6th anniversary, he brought it along on a hike up Meall-Fuer-Mhonaidh. As he set up a camera to capture the proposal, good old Highland rain and hail swept in, but it didn't stop Janna from saying an excited and heartfelt "YES!" 💍

Family and friends joined them to celebrate their wedding at the beautiful Loch Ness Country House Hotel, where they shared vows and sealed the deal by drinking from the Quaich in true Highland tradition.

Here's to many more adventures for Janna & Angus. 😍

Chelsea & Liam got married at Clava Mains - A Place To Gather ❤️

It all began way back in 2014 when Chelsea and Liam met on a drunken night out at 'The Den.' It was during this first meeting that Chelsea and Liam mapped out their future - marriage, a dog, and two kids named Denver & Joey! Although life ended up taking them on different paths, fate had a different plan for these two! 😃

Fast forward to May 2020, in the middle of a global pandemic, while working in Raigmore Hospital, Liam found himself cleaning the same room FOUR times just to keep chatting to Chelsea, an auxiliary nurse.

Liam finished his shift that day at 4.00pm by 4.05pm Chelsea had received a message from him ' no time wasted with Liam. 💖

Their first date? Well, it was a wild walk up Daviot Woods, where they chatted total nonsense, and they were so engrossed with each other that they got completely lost!🤣 Once they found the car again, they knew they didn't want their day to end, so off to Nairn Beach, they went, where Liam treated Chelsea to the 'high-life' -a Diet Coke and Kinder Bueno! 😄

From singing Paramore on the drive home to Liam Being Chelsea's rock during her toughest times, they have built a love that has only deepend. 😍
When Liam proposed in snowy Central Park NYC with a little help from Zachary and a heartfelt video, Chelsea said yes! 💍

During their ceremony, Chelsea & Liam sealed their vows in a beautiful handfasting, binding their hands and heart together forever. ❤️

🌟 It all began on 27th April 2019, at OutDores Festival by Loch Ness 🌳 Lianne and Aaron met through a mutual friend and bonded over a VERY important debate - who makes the best burger. 🍔 Fast forward through dancing, festivals, ice cream, and a cheeky drinking game that ended with kisses instead of shots. 💋 They were inseparable.
Their adventures include road trips in Aaron's campervan, live music on pub night, and surviving 2020 by creating their own little slice of heaven at home - shout out to 'little Anne' as them! 🤣 Life got even better when Harry 🐶 their squeaky little Cocker Spaniel, joined the family.
And the proposal 💍 In Tenerife, Aaron, engagement ring in pocket, waited for the perfect sunset to pop the question, and when he did, Lianne, through happy emotional tears, replied with a big 'yes.' ❤️
I've known Lianne for many years, and it was a massive privilege to be the celebrant to conduct her and Aaron's wedding ceremony.

Gill & David ❤️ Loch an Eilein, Rothiemurchus.

It all began by chance in 2019 and the spark between these two was undeniable! Gill wasted no time, inviting David to a night out in Inverness. Their night? LEGENDARY. Pub crawl, karaoke, and memories made with Gill's "cheesy" song picks that David just happened to know by heart! 🎤 🤣

The next day, they bonded over cows and pizza - seriously! - and they knew they'd be seeing much more of each other. From spontaneous Paris trips to road adventures across Scotland and Eastern Europe, their love story is built on shared passions and countless laughs.

Then came a big leap. They moved in together, and soon after, Fern, their adorable fur baby, joined the family. 🐾

The proposal? Let's just say it involved a post pizza walk near Carbisdale Castle. David was so nervous that when he got down on one knee, Gill thought he'd fallen over! But when she saw the ring,💍 her 'yes' was undeniable. ❤️

And now they are writing their next chapter together, surrounded by love, laughter, and their mischievous dog Fern.

Amelie & Craig married at Bogbain! ❤️

They first crossed paths in April 2017, in Dunedin, New Zealand. 🇳🇿

First impressions? Craig was instantly taken by Amelie's tattoos and trainers - yes, her trainers! And Amelie? Well, she thought Craig was full of energy and maybe just a bit annoying at first . 😂 But something clicked, and they've been inseparable ever since.

From New York to the Maldives, city breaks, and a home filled with love, especially when Yogi, their rescue cat, joined them in 2018. 🐈 Fast forward to 2024, and now they've sealed their love by saying their personal vows over a Celtic handfasting. 😍
