✨ Lauren & Robert's Love Story ✨

Lauren & Robert married at the beautiful Ben Wyvis Hotel, surrounded by their favourite people. They exchanged vows, wedding rings, and legal declarations - sealing their promises with laughter, love and happy tears. 🥰

Their story began back in 2020 with a simple "hello" online. Robert had just returned from Monte Carlo - no jackpot win, but he was about to hit the real one, because only a few days later a message popped up from the girl of his dreams.💗

After weeks of chatting and late-night phone calls, they finally went on a date - well a second first date, Lauren had called off the first one!
Drinks at Scotch & Rye and dinner at The Kitchen followed, and by the end of the night, Robert was already texting to arrange their next date. 😍

Lockdown arrived, but their relationship only grew stronger. When restrictions lifted, they set up together in Muir of Ord, and before long, their biggest adventure arrived: their son Mason. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒

These days life is full of family walks and soft play dates with Mason. Robert's all about golf and Ross County; Lauren's more country music and planning queen - but between them, they are the perfect match. 🎶⚽⛳

As often is the case Robert's first proposal plan didn't quite go as expected but plan B went beautifully. As Lauren was getting Mason ready for bed she spotted the words on his baby vest: "Will you marry Daddy?" Lauren turned around to find Robert down on one knee...and of course, she said yes.💍

From that moment to their wedding day, it's been a true team effort - full of love, family support, and plenty of Lauren's famous organisation and not forgetting Robert's world class nodding and agreeing. 😄

✨ A little post-ceremony magic...✨

Today I had the joy of conducting Michael & Carly's wedding ceremony, and while I'm not sharing any photos of the happy couple yet (they get first dibs, of course!), I had to share this....

They treated their guests to the incredible talent of magician Elliot Bibby, who kept everyone entertained during the after ceremony drinks - and honestly, I was completely blown away.
He showed me a card trick that left me absolutely speechless.....and I see a lot of things at weddings, but that was next level!🪄♥️

If you are looking to add a bit of wonder, laughter and a lot of "HOW did he do that?!" moments to your wedding day, Elliot is your man!

✨ Gayle & Keith✨
Their love story began quietly, with friendship, laughter, and a spark that never quite went out.

They'd known each other for years before life brought them back together. What started as wee chats soon became something deeper, they just got each other - same sense of humour, same love of rock music, same gentle understanding, 🎶🎸

When they finally became a couple, things moved quickly. Before long Gayle, Keith , the kids including Bronne the Dachshund were a family, filling their home with music, laughter, and love.🏡♥️ 🐾

Together they've weathered life's storms and held tight to their family motto: "Grab hold of the good stuff."
And through every challenge, they've done exactly that.💕

When Keith proposed, he did it in the most "them" way possible, with a song he'd written called - By Your Side.
As he sang, came the words:
🎶"And now the dream I had came into life, I'm here to ask you now, to be my wife..."
Through tears Gayle said yes - not once....but several times!🥰

Their wedding day at Big Husky Lodge wasn't about extravagance. It was about love, resilience, and family.
They said the most emotional vows I've ever heard, their hands bound with their own handfast cord - and every word was a promise to keep finding joy in the everyday.♥️

After everything they've faced together, this day was a celebration of hope, strength, and the magic that comes from never letting go of the good stuff.💖

I gave her a few colour ideas I had, and she just knew what would work!

✨ Rebecca & Ewan's love story began in 2006 - long before dating apps, when Bebo and MSN were the height of romance.♥️

They met through Rebecca's dad and the family's very large dog during a work placement.
She had at first though he wasn't her type, he thought she was way out of his league...but a woodland walk changed everything. 🌳🐾🌳

From late night chats over dial-up internet to train trips between Aberdeen and Inverness, their teenage spark grew into something truly special.

👛 There was a budget first dates, secret phone calls, ☎️ and eventually, full approval from Rebecca's dad - helped along by some competitive Call of Duty sessions!

Since then, they've shared a lifetime of adventures - from their first trip to Italy 🇮🇹 to exploring the world together🌍✈️ from building a home filling it with love, and two brilliant dogs, Charlie and Wallace. 🐾🐾

On Christmas Eve while in Brazil, 19 years after their first meeting, Ewan proposed - true to form, casually and from the heart.💍

And at Boath House , surrounded by family, friends, and their beloved dogs, they made it all official - sealing their vows with a handfasting using their own cord, and the promises with wedding rings.🥰

Here's to Rebecca and Ewan, proof that sometimes, the best love stories begin with a work placement, a big dog, and a spark that never fades. ✨

✨Kira & Murray✨

This gorgeous couple married at Daviot Steading, surrounded by family, friends, and the kind of laughter that tells you they were just made for each other!❤️

Their love story began in the most romantic of places...the office! They first met at LifeScan, sitting side by side at work, where a spark quietly began to grow. Life moved on, Kira returned to Uni, but clearly fate had other plans, because when she returned two years later, so did that spark!💕

After a few secret dates and A LOT of office discretion, it soon became clear this was something special.
Within months, they'd bought their home together - yes while most people would still be debating sharing a Netflix password, these two were signing mortgage papers! 🏠📝
From that moment on, life together just fit: road trips with iced coffees, home cooked dinners, and weekends with their beloved dogs, Freddie & Branston.🐾

Fast forward to a windy drive around Loch Ness, where Murray had the ring, the speech, and the nerves...but gale force winds and full carparks weren't part of the plan!
Eventually, at a quiet spot by the canal, he got down on one knee and asked Kira if she'd be his wife 😍 Of course Kira delightedly said yes. 💍

Two years later, almost to the day, they stood hand in hand to say "I do."
Their day was filled with joy, loads of love, and that unmistakable sense that some love stories are simply meant to be.🥰

Their love story began with a message, a meeting, and a kiss on a beach.♥️

For Donald and Alistair that first date at Culzean Castle was the start of something real, something lasting, and something they felt was just so right from the very beginning.

They clicked easily, handsome smiles, blue eyes, honesty, and a shared ability to laugh at life. From rainy Eurovision caravans and adventures across Europe, to meeting each others families, building a home and becoming dog dad's to their much loved Roy🐾 Their story has unfolded in all the best ways: honestly, joyfully, and always side by side.

They've built a life full of good food, great music, legendary steak pie, unbeatable pub-quiz teamwork, and a home filled with love, laughter and welcome.
No grand proposal was needed - they both just knew. And so, on a beautiful day in Donald's family garden, surrounded by those closest to their heart, they made their vows over an oathing stone, exchanged wedding rings, and sealed their promises by sharing a drink from their quaich - a true celebration of love, trust and togetherness.❤️

✨Anna & Malcolm✨

These two came all the way from Shetland to marry at Achnagairn Castle ❤️

Sometimes love grows quietly in the background of a small, close-knit place, and then one day you realise your 'one' has been there along! That's how it was for Anna & Malcolm. 😍

Their paths had always crossed, but it wasn't until they were both guests at a wedding that something shifted. Weekends together became their rhythm, and before long, the real test arrived... Anna's dog Krissie! Thankfully, Krissie approved of Malcolm instantly...nothing at all to do with his throwing a tennis ball for hours on end! 🐾🥎 And Malcolm's cat Fanta? Well, he took to Anna,but took a little longer to get used to Krissie the dog, but eventually even he surrendered - or at least tolerated sharing the sofa!🐾🤣😸

Life unfolded gently and naturally. House renovations, horse duties, Xbox diplomacy, adventures near and far and days that felt easy just because they were spent side by side. It was never about lavish displays of love, just two people choosing each other in the little, everyday ways.🥰

So on Christmas Eve 2022, in true Anna & Malcolm style, the proposal was simple, sincere, and perfect for them - after the bonfire, once home, just the two of them there. There was no big speech, no elaborate build up, just a simple, heartfelt moment between two people who already knew exactly where their story was going. 💍🌟🥂

At Achnagairn Castle in front of their favourite people, they sealed it all with their vows, their wedding rings, and their brilliant Three Things - one they love, one they promise, and one thing they'd change about each other! There was plenty of laughter shared between them and the guests! 😂

Now they've begun the next chapter of their love story: continuing to create their home,walking their dog, and facing whatever comes their way, always hand in hand, and always as a team! 🥰

✨ Emma & Matthew ✨

Every great love story starts somewhere....and for these two, it began outside a nightclub in Aberdeen. 🎶 What started as with in invite for "one more drink" soon turned into first dates, shared laughs, and one slightly chaotic night involving Emma, to many cocktails, and a quick exit from Mathews flat! and the kind of spark that only grew stronger. 🥰

Together, they've travelled the world, from Zanzibar's beaches to Australia's sunshine, built a home, and started a business! 🌟

Life got even sweeter when their cocker spaniel, Mabel, joined the family, and she's been by their side for every adventure, including acting as a ring bearer on their wedding day. 🐾💍🐾

The proposal? A total surprise. After a gruelling charity walk from Aberdeen to Fort William, Mathew got down on one knee| on a rainy beach with Ben Nevis as the backdrop. Emma's first response was pure disbelief - "Are you taking the ****?
But of course, Matthew meant every word, and Emma replied with a massive YES!♥️

From a chance encounter on a night out to building a life full of travel, laughter, business ventures, and cosy nights in with Mabel, theirs is a story of two people who just knew from the moment they met that they should be together. 😍

✨Nikki & Gavin✨

Their love story started quietly, with messages back and forth in the summer of 2020, when the world felt uncertain, but something certain was taking shape. ♥️

After weeks of chatting, they chose Aden Country Park for their first date, a relaxed walk, plenty of laughter, and that rare, instant ease that makes you feel like you've known someone forever. What followed wasn't rushed or dramatic; it was just two people building something real, one conversation, one decision at a time. 🌟

Life together son found its rhythm: movie nights, silly TikTok challenges, and the simple joy of being in each other's company. Over time, they transformed a house into a home, filling it with love laughter, and a very pampered Sprocker Spaniel 🐾 and built a life of shared adventures, from Zip-lining and Kayaking to caravan trips and plans to conquer Munros. ⛰️

Theirs is a life they adore, cooking together, heading out for dinner, exploring new places, or just playing cards in the caravan with music on and a drink in hand. 🥂 And thought it all, they've done it side by side.❤️

The proposal was beautifully true to them: just the two of them, and their four-legged companion, a long walk to the top of lava Falls, and one heartfelt question asked against a backdrop of breathtaking views. No big performance, just a promise of forever, sealed with a yes.💍

On their wedding day surrounded by those they love they celebrated that promise by exchangeing rings and sharing a special whisky from the quaich, a toast to the next chapter of their love story. 🥰

✨Emily & Ross✨

Their love story started with Facebook, mud, and a very bold tough Mudder post! 💪

These two had known of each other since their school days, but it wasn't until 2015, when Ross was working away in Angola and posted looking for race buddies for the Tough Mudder, that Emily replied, and their chatting never stopped!
In no time, they were inseparable: pasta dates, spontaneous trips to Applecross, and dancing their way through Belladrum. 🎶🎪

In time Emily moved in - it began with "just" a drawer... and quickly became half the wardrobe, their life together had truly begun.🥰
Since then, they've built a home they're so proud of, full of laughter, love, late night chats, and the beautiful, joyful chaos of raising their two wee boys.🏡♥️

As a team they the balance each other perfectly: Ross, the golf-loving gardener, ⛳🪏 and Emily, the social, outdoorsy adventurer. Together, they share a love of travel, good food, live music, and cosy movie nights once the house is quiet. ✈️ 🍕 🎶

The proposal? Pure romance. 🌟💍
A birthday trip to London, champagne well.....almost! Not knowing a marriage proposal was coming her way she refused to pay £125 a bottle for any Champagne 🍾 At the perfect moment high above the city in the Shard, Ross full of love asked Emily - "would you be mine forever?" Her answer: "I thought I already was!" 😂❤️ But then out came the engagement ring and with it the real question, Emily's answer? A delighted yes! 💍

Ten years later, they celebrated that first spark with the wedding they'd always dreamed of, joyful, relaxed, and surrounded by the people they love most. 🥰
And just as it was in the very beginning, their story remains full of laughter, adventure, and a love that feels as easy as breathing.💫
