If you do choose to go the ebay route there are a few tip to increase the likelyhood of your satisfaction.
1. Check the feedback rating of the seller and ensure that they are Power Sellers with a rating of 99% or above.
2. Order your dress with a delivery date 6 months before your special date. This will allow time to correct any errors.
3. If the location of origin is China please be careful in the sizing. China sizes are smaller than American sizes so be sure to convert them correctly.
4. Be sure to ask the seller questions to determine the materials used and the weight of the fabric. Fabric that is too heavy makes the dress looks cheap and bulky. Ask are the embellishments sewn on or glued on.
5. Lastly, verify that the seller qualified for buyer protection through Paypal
