After spending two of the last three weeks in magical Portugal we are now heading over the Balearic for a week of island life in 🏝️
So much beauty, somehow our kitchen brings us this. 🙂

We will then return home to Andalucia for some much cherished time and space in our magical home

This place! This week (somehow in the middle of summer high-season) we are taking time away for ourselves to rejuvenate, refresh and realign with a true master of medicine music, none other than the living treasure that is ✨Carioca✨
Coming all the way from Brazil for a lucky group in this one of our most cherished places on earth, in SW Portugal we are both overflowing with joy at the magic which life has some how brought us.
Three-nights of journey with music and familia, what bliss. Poim!

💕🍌Banoffee Love 💕🙊

It is well overdue we give credit to this humble delicious dessert.

Banoffee was one of the very first vegan desserts that really impressed us. it must be 10+ years ago and we have not stopped making it ever since.
It features on almost all our retreat menus and has probably been our most requested dish of all time.
Such a simple dish, gracias Banoffee!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Amigos! Anne Marie & I are happy and humbled to share with you all the beginning of a new chapter for us - the launch of our new retreat venue - 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It has been more than four years since we closed the zippers at our last venture & somehow life has delivered us a second beautiful space to call home and host retreats. Just now a little wiser 😊😊
It has been a busy winter, building and reforming the 8 rooms, temple, swimming pool etc and we have just held our first retreat here last week and it all feels very very good. We will still be catering retreats all over Spain & Ibiza but with will be spending more and more of our time here at our new HQ. Much love to you all! Zaira is a very talented plant-based chef. With over 10 years of experience as a head chef, she's lead several successful restaurant kitchens.

Her passion for plant-based food has guided her into our field of plant-based retreat cuisine.

Not only is Zaira and accomplished chef, she is also blessed with a natural charm, a beautiful smile and a warm, open heart.

You are going to love her, as do we already!

After the summer comes... porridge!

Not the kind that could double as a building material, but a fluffy and comforting dream of flavour and texture.

In this case we're topped it maple-glazed hazelnuts and blueberries.

But the beauty is that you can top it with anything that takes your fancy: griddled banana, stewed apple or fresh fruits, seeds, nuts.

Autumn, we're ready for you! 🍂

You may have noticed that we haven't been very active on social media this year, apart from our most recent post. We've not been quiet in real life though. ⚡⚡️⚡️

So far this year we've cooked for 18 retreats, feeding around 250 people. So grateful for the beautiful collaborations with all our retreat hosts and venues. 🙏🏽🙏🏻🙏🏿

Oh and the cake? A half-eaten birthday carrot cake with vegan icing. Just because everyone can do with some sweetness in these busy, crazy times. 😋

〰️ This year 2021 is almost done... What a year it has been!

We've written and printed The Cookbook - a longheld dream that has finally been realised. The first edition is almost gone - we're going for the second print run!

And from June onwards we've been cooking for one retreat after the other, for old and new clients. It's been our busiest and longest retreat season ever!

We're enjoying some much needed time off now and want to wish everybody happy, wholesome holidays! ✨

Today is our first day off for almost a month and we are both so pleased to have been back at full power! 🔥

The last month has seen us cater for and support the most wonderful retreats and events in Ibiza & Andalucía, held beautifully by our truly amazing clients!

The travelling catering circus is on the road again, back home to Tarifa 🌬

In the last 2 weeks in Ibiza we have fed a total of 45 people. We’ve served 140 breakfasts, 161 brunches and more than 300 dinners. All delicious, fresh, vibrant, creative plantbased food, made by our own four hands. 🙌🏼🙌🏻

Biggest gratitude to and Jan den Boer en Caroline van Wijngaarden from **ratraining and all their guests. 🙏🏽🙏🏿🙏🏻

We are so looking forward to our next gig on the island in the end of September!
