This weeks pie is in the oven ready for judging tomorrow! Last week the pumpkin pie proved to be a little like marmite and scored 58% - will the maple spiced, pecan crumble topped apple pie fare better this week? Lovely smells in the kitchen suggest that it might.....

This weeks Pumpkin Pie with Maple Cream proved to be a bit like marmite! Some loved it and others hated it. Overall it scored 58% which, although a solid score, means it is unlikely to be a winner...

So, with everything that’s going on, Tiffin Ely is going to hibernate from 8th November until next Spring when (hopefully) things will be clearer, brighter and more sociable! Over the coming weeks and months we’ll be doing lots of planning and experimenting- so stay with us as we’ll be posting all about it! Keep an eye out for our 12 weeks of Piemas - a different pie each week, reviewed by my resident panel of pie experts and a guest pieficiando each week as we decide which one will make the Christmas Lunch menu! A quick reminder that 'The Robins' are in league action tonight at The Demcom Stadium when we host Haverhill Rovers . Both sides are at the wrong end of the table and this is definitely one that you can call a 'six pointer' The game also marks the last one in charge for Manager Brady Stone & Martin Grey before Luke McAvoy & Ben Farmer take over at the helm. What a lovely crisp evening to take in some local live football and show your support for both Brady,Martin and the team. The game kicks off at 7:45pm Come on You Robins

Our meringues are now Christmas ready! Cinnamon, Vanilla and Walnut meringue served with Cointreau cream, Cointreau steeped mandarins and pomegranate seeds. A perfect festive dessert for those who shun the pudding. Available as single meringues or as a wreath.

It’s sneaking up so we’re getting prepared! Our Christmas lines will be available to order from 15/11/19 to 20/12/19 (last deliveries by 23/12/19). There will be meringue wreaths, mince pies (including a line of charity mince pies with £1 from every box sold going to ) and we are working on a Christmassy meringue flavour too! All our mince pies come beautifully boxed and beribboned so they make a perfect gift (if you want to share that is...)
