A little FYI.

This festival means more than people realise to me and the EDC Women.

In 2019, I was reunited with my sisters Andrea & Fran at the 1st WoH, after probably going on for a decade of us having and raising our families at opposite ends of the country. Keeping our toes dipped in the music we loved and given so much to, over the years had been hard. The usual festivals that would reunite the clans, such as Big Chill or the Southport Weekender (The Original), had come to an end, in one way or another.
WoH was the homecoming we didn't know we needed, and it was then that the idea of the Eves’Drop Collective was born.

Between us, we had a network of solid women selectors, DJs, and artists that had been part of our scene for many years from across the UK that shared our love and passion for the scene. It can be a lonely space to try and move and grow in a marginalised music space, and although things have definitely gotten better, strength in numbers has many benefits. We support each other in times of difficulties, we encourage each other to keep going, to remember who we are, and when we play together something magical, dare I say divine happens, because all that love we share between us, transmutes and radiates out.

You see, we are not in competition with each other or anyone else. We just stand in our power and witness the reflections on the floor. It's a beautiful thing to share moments of freedom. 🙏💕🙏

We are a safe space. We love each other, and we love what we get to share with dancefloors.

This year, 14 of us bringing the vibes in Brawnswood, Love Dancin, Monkey Shoulder Studio & Once in a Blue Moon.

So, WoH means more than most realise to Eves'Drop. It's our birth place. Our history. Our heartbeat of the vast musical family we share. So thank you, Gilles, Noah, Colleen, Mr Scruff, and all the DJ's and dancers that have shared moments with us, from the Sanctuary open decks of 21 & 22, the madness of Hennessy and this year Love Dancin'.

Catch me playing at Wednesday at 9pm Platform 23 alongside and many more wonderful souls.

If you're lucky enough to access the West Holt's backstage bar. You'll find me there Friday evening at 9.30pm.

Last but by no means least I'll be making my Compere debut on the almighty stage along with the amazing Jazz.

I can't wait to see all those glorious faces smoking back at me and the honour of introducing great acts.
