Finished three projects today and have two more lined up for Monday. Couldn't be busier, but absolutely love what I do!

This year we were asked by my niece Katelyn to make a graceful calisthenics dress for her daughter Eden. Eden is a member of Jayde Calisthenics in Ballarat. Jayde was created by some friends of mine , one being Donna Flynn, my dearest school friend who tragically passed away suddenly in November 2023. Donna was Eden’s coach and she was to commence teaching Eden this solo just before she died.
So this costume was a very personal one to me , for we were making it for family, but also as a tribute to my friend Donna.
With Katelyn’s permisssion I sewed a little white bow with Jayde coloured gems into Eden’s costume to honour Donna and her life at Jayde.
Today Eden came 2nd in her solo competition, I am very proud of here and I think Donna would be too💙🤍💚.

We had so much fun designing and creating this gorgeous Tinkerbell costume for Harriet. The brief was to create a relaxed tulle skirt with a sheer top and lots of bling. Thanks Amanda for this lovely photo🩰💙✨.

To finish off 2023 we offer up this gorgeous Cream embossed velvet tutu with stunning floral and gem accents. As a point of difference this tutu has a peasant dress leotard , with wider straps and a lovely scoop neckline, embellished with 3d flowers in gold and green tones, with added gem bling. The tulle skirt is made from straight layers of cream and old gold tulle , with specialty glitter dot tulle. The flowers from the bodice are repeated around the waist and skirt for a tradition look, embellished with more gems in gold , citrine , peridot and champagne. This tutu would suit a dancer with the following measurements…..

9 layers of straight edges tulle in shades of apricot , peach , cream and ivory are further enhanced with iridescent glitter tulle.
Delicate vintage lace pieces adorn the soft apricot leotard, spilling down onto the skirt. Gems and crystals in shades of apricot , rose gold, pearl and champagne are scattered amongst the swirls of pearls.

Take a look at this recently completed RTW girls 10-12 Ruby red tutu. ❤️

This tutu is constructed with a fully lined ruby red stretch velvet leotard. The scalloped edge tulle skirt consists of 8 layers of red tulle and added layers of gold glitter spot specialty tulle.
It is completed with intricate white/ gold and red/ gold lace pieces, embellished with gems and crystals in varying shades of red, gold and crystal ab.

THIS TUTU HAS NOW BEEN SOLD …For this tutu we have teamed the stunning sequinned and beaded silver grey floral lace with the cool shade of seaweed Lycra. The lace pieces have been embellished with gems in peridot shades, green pearls and crystal gems.
The straight edge 9 layer tulle skirt includes a layer of metallic green mesh and a top layer of white/silver glitter tulle for extra shimmer and shine.

Girl 6-8 pink jewelled tutu…

Princess Aurora, Sleeping Beauty or any little princess could easily wear this little tutu 8 layers of straight edged tulle in shades of petal pink and soft pink are enhanced with multiple layers of pink glitter spot tulle.

Earlier this year we were given a brief from Envy Dance Studio for a number of tutus , all very different but to match the personalities of the dancers. We enjoyed the challenge very much and once we saw the tutus on the dancers , it seemed colour choices and styles suited the dancers very well.
